Having purchased the sample pack from the Brickell website some time ago, I have since purchased full sized products, and when I needed a new face wash, this was my choice.As opposed to kaolin clay or similar ingredients in other products, the charcoal in this helps my skin feel cleaner and I can use this more days in a row without irritation or dryness. I have very sensitive skin and have had no dermatitis flareups.The main ingredient is not water, which works out here, making it easier to spread the wash on your face and stay there to do it's work. (I recommend putting it on 2/3 of the way through your show and letting it 'mask' for a minute, but you can also wash at the sink with immediate rinse for the same effect).Noting also with my skin sensitivity, the mint and lemongrass are lower on the ingredient list, allowing for a little aromatherapy without related irritation.Washes off cleanly and with the scent, you'll feel the difference on the first wash, and using it most days, a consistent clean feel to your skin.Price point is also excellent for the quality and amount.All in all, no negatives, worth the investment in your skin.

A skin routine is a delicate dance. You can't always blast your face off with pumice and harsh chemicals. Sometimes you need a gentle cleanser fit for any day or occasion. Brickell really nails it here with their Charcoal Face Wash. The scent is a has a slight menthol which cools and awakens the face, doesn't smell remotely medicated, and is a perfect follow up to a scrub. The lather is light, applying almost like a moisturizing creme cleanser and is a relief when applied. It leaves the skin feeling tighter, smoother and generally more youthful.This is my go to cleanser on days when my skin is sensitive from treatment or sun singed. The packaging is sleek and looks great in the shower, and the charcoal has a glittery quality to it that feels lavish when applying.I can't imagine anyone being upset with this product; it makes a great gift for any man.

This is one of the best face washes that I have used so far. It does not leave my skin dry and it feels good after I use it. The one thing that I would change, and this is just a suggestion, would be to make it a little bit thicker, so it doesn't come out so quickly when I squish the bottle. But other than that I would recommend this product to anyone.

Great cleanser. I have bought this product many times, and I use this regularly in between the normal clarifying gel cleanser by brickell. I especially like this product for the charcoal ingredients which help keep pores cleaner during the warmer summer months when I may be outside more often. Slightly premium price point compared to typical cleansing gels, but that is due to the premium ingredients used in this product. If you prefer a thicker “lather” for your daily cleanser, I recommend the brickell clarifying gel, but overall I prefer this cleanser for the reasons mentioned.

I started using the brickell charcoal face wash roughly 2 months ago and I really love it! I switched from a different soap that was drying my face out right under my eyes. Overall, I feel like this product gets my face clean without being to harsh or drying out my skin. My face is fairly sensitive so finding something that is good at getting my face clean while also not irritating it can be tricky but I’ve been really impressed with the effectiveness of balancing these two things so far. I also feel like the quality and size for the price is great!

I assume this washes my face. It is quite liquidy and doesn't foam up like I'd expect from a face wash

I've been using the Brickell Men’s Purifying Charcoal Face Wash for several months now, and it continues to impress me. I have ordered other products from Brickell and have never been disappointed. This product does an excellent job of cleansing my skin without drying or irritation. I had a beard of about 3 months' growth that I recently shaved off. Having a facial cleanser like this helped to get my face back into shape after being covered in hair for 3 months. I use this product daily and would not go without it. It is well worth the money, and I would recommend it to any of my friends and family.
