When these first arrived and I began to unpack them, I was a bit confused. Each one is packed inside its own plastic bag, and these all packed inside one larger plastic bag. But the individual mannequins require some assembly. This threw me initially, until I realised that the bodies are in two halves and can be eased apart at the seams. At that point, it was clear how the top and bottom bits fit on. However I was further stymied when I noticed a small strip of light brown rubber with a zigzag cut in it still in the bag, and couldn’t for the life of me figure out what this was. I referred back to the product images on the Amazon listing, and found that it cleverly slots into the back of the mannequin when it’s open and allows you to poke any excess fabric into a slot at the back for a good tight fit. Actually very clever once I’d cracked it, and a nice clean design for displaying doll clothes or miniature fashion creations. I’m actually quite impressed with these as they are very effective and look really smart once assembled. Well worth the current price of £13.49 for a set of 5 if you are into making miniature clothing or collecting doll accessories that you want to display.
