Perfect fit, easy install, works!
Perfect piece to making my old projector come back to life. It was a really easy install and packaged pretty securely. Some reason the quality wasn’t as good as the original bulb but nonetheless it worked as designed and can’t be happier. I got the Movie setup and going again in the man cave.

This worked just fine and the included instructions were very good
This worked just fine and the included instructions were very good. This was well made and included such things as an install screw which you might have lost when removing the old unit. I was surprised and pleased at how easy it was to replace the lamp. Another plus was the BenQ store web site said replacement lamps were out of stock and this was cheaper than the BenQ store.

Quality Has Gone WAY Downhill
We bought this lamp before and it worked GREAT. Now that it's time to replace it again, the quality has gone way down. We have ordered this lamp twice now and both times it overheats and either shuts the whole projector down (the first one), or flickers to grayed-out while the fan works overtime to try to cool the system down. We're really disappointed that we can't depend on this product anymore.

This bulb is bright and ready for movie/game night!
This was the second time the bulb in my BenQ W1080ST had died and I knew that I should replace not just the bulb, but the housing around it this time. After a move cross-country, the projector had been knocked around a bit and the bulb was the main victim.Although I purchased a refurbished/returned bulb, I received everything I needed packed and cared for well (Cardboard box, Air packing, and bubble wrap). The package was very well taken care of for such a delicate item.Install was very simple. Simply remove one screw to unseat the lid of the projector, loosen one screw on the bulb housing, and pull it out by the handle. Reverse these steps with the new bulb and you're all set!The projector is nice and bright, providing an excellent picture once again. I am happy with the color reproduction. It doesn't seem that there are any issues at all. I'll definitely look here again the next time our bulb needs replacing.

Nice Lamp, Short Life
I bought and installed this lamp. The original lamp from the BenQ factory install lasted for 6 years, with regular use. This lamp was very economical but only lasted for one year, or 14 months. The lamp worked great while it lasted. I am debating whether to buy a new one or upgrade my projector.

Way cheaper than other replacement bulbs
This thing was super easy to replace. One screw holds it securely into the projector housing and then there is only one cable plug to install. To make sure I had the correct bulb, I opened up the projector and matched the bulb part number. It worked with no fuss and no muss. I was very happy with it. So far it has been going strong, but the overall longevity is my only worry. But it was so much cheaper and so easy to install that even if it only lasts half as long as others, I will still be coming out ahead.

Great Lamp Replacement (1070)
I love my Benq 1070 projector, but I have had several bulbs break since I purchased it. As a result, the housing is looking a little rough and the glass on it has scratched. I was looking for a replacement lamp and housing and found this one at the same cost as a lamp. When product arrived, it appeared to be in excellent shape and the housing looked identical to the OEM one. Since the lamp was already assembled in the housing, installation was a breeze. I have only had it for a week, but picture is bright and clear with no issue. Very impressed with the product. I will update the review in a couple months to review durability, but so far so good. Although I was concerned about durability, reading the reviews about great customer service made this a solid risk to take. Very happy with product

For a discount price, this lamp is working great!
We were incredibly pleased to find this product on Amazon. Our prior bulb failed after we accidentally left it on for a week while we were on Vacay. That one was close to $300. This one was 1/3rd the price but an almost identical product when we inspected it. The install was pretty clean. You have to really pay attention to the details and take a moment to focus on it while you do it. You don't want to hose your $1000 projector with a $100 lamp. Really like this product. We were going to upgrade to a 4K projector when the last bulb died as the projector, a BenQ, was only $750. That being said now that we have a source for these affordable lamps, we are going to stick it out with this projector a wee bit longer.
