Red Eye

As a fan of suspenseful thrillers, I was excited to add "Red Eye" to my collection. I was not disappointed! This movie keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.The story centers around Lisa (played by Rachel McAdams), a hotel manager who finds herself seated next to a charming stranger named Jackson (played by Cillian Murphy) on a red-eye flight. What starts as a friendly conversation quickly turns sinister as Jackson reveals that he is a terrorist and is forcing Lisa to help him carry out a plot to assassinate a high-ranking official.What follows is a heart-pumping game of cat-and-mouse as Lisa tries to outsmart Jackson and save herself, the passengers, and the target of the assassination. The tension in this movie is palpable, and the action scenes are well-executed.One thing I appreciated about "Red Eye" was the strong female lead. Lisa is smart, resourceful, and refuses to be a victim. McAdams does an excellent job portraying her as someone we can root for.The DVD also includes some interesting special features, such as deleted scenes and commentary from the director and cast.But what really sets this DVD apart is the eye-catching cover art and the high-quality picture and sound. The colors are vibrant and the sound is crisp and clear, making for an immersive viewing experience.Overall, I highly recommend "Red Eye" to anyone who loves a good thriller. It's a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and leave you feeling satisfied with the conclusion.

I haven't watched it. It was for a friend, but she liked it.

Excellent movie you got to pay attention from the very minute it starts including the time they're giving credits, all plays a very important role, I was on the edge of my seat! it's that kind of movie

This movie is so great, I watched it before and continue to watch it over and over again. I love the actors that came on this movie and no damage was done to the dvd or the package.

I'm female and 78 years old. I was very pleased with the movie, and Amazon service. I could not get the movie from Redbox, nor from my local library. I watched the movie by my self and I screamed at the point where the girl, while in the airplane stabed the guy. It came as a suprise. I liked the way the girl handled herself in a dangerous situation. She was spiritually and physically strong. For me it was a good movie.

La película es buenísima, un giro interesante a la línea tradicional que solía seguir Wes Craven.Respecto al DVD:- Es región 1. Ténganlo en cuenta si aun tienen DVD con restricciones regionales.- Subtítulos: Inglés, español y francés.- Subtítulos Cerrados o Closed Captions (CC): sólo en inglés.- Audio: aunque, para mí, lo mejor es ver una película en su idioma original (inglés), también se puede escuchar en francés (no trae audio en español) La calidad del audio es muy buena.- Material adicional: comentarios de los realizadores (incluyendo a Wes Craven), errores de grabación y detrás de cámaras.

Ok, der Filmtitel und die vermutung was im Film passiert - ist mal ganz haarsträubend. Red Eye - ist eher der Thriller der sich von 74 Minuten ganze 61 Minuten im Flugzeug abspielt ( Dialoge). Die hübsche Darstellerin und der perfekt Schauspielernde Mr. Murphy ( er spielt die Rolle so verdammt gut ) sind wirklich ganz ok, auch wenn Sie ( die Hoteldame ) zu übertrieben spielt und zu oft Ihre Haltung / Einstellung in dieser Stresssituation wechselt. Das war wirklich nicht immer plausibel von Ihr ( Adams ). Mal Cool, Ängstlich, knallhart, überlegen, mimimimi..alles dabei!Auch die Special Effekts ( Rakete / Hochhaus ) sind natürlich für 2005 naja - irgendwie schlecht. Aber ausreichend für die Handlung.Aber - eigentlich spielt es keine Rolle - ich wurde sehr gut unterhalten - fand die Rollen Super - das Flugzeug war gut gemacht und die Handlung war Super süffig. Ich habe Ihn sehr gerne geguckt und war am Ende zufrieden. Klar, gibt es Logik und Handlungsfehler..aber was soll es. Er war super unterhaltsam.Ich fand Ihn richtig gut!Cilian Murphy ist echt genial in der Rolle des Schurken / Bösewicht!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nach der Beerdigung ihrer Großmutter in Dallas wartet die Lux Atlantic Hotel Managerin Lisa auf einen Flug nach Miami. Aufgrund des schlechten Wetters und der darauffolgenden Flugverspätung trifft sie in der Flughafenbar Jack Rippner, der ebenfalls auf der Warteliste steht. Sie sitzen zusammen im Flugzeug, und Jack offenbart, dass er möchte, dass Lisa den Raum eines bedeutenden amerikanischen Politikers in Lux ändert, um einen Terroranschlag gegen ihn zu ermöglichen. Andernfalls wird Lisas Vater von einem Killer getötet. Lisa muss entscheiden, was sie mit dem bedrohlichen Mann an ihrer Seite machen soll.

I‘m a big Cillian Murphy Fan so I had to watch it and a great investment. The story is great and cillian shows himself from his best side, highly recommended. The film felt way too short to me because it was so exciting.

Bei Red Eye handelt es sich um einen Psychothriller von Wes Craven.Wes Craven wurde unter anderen als Schöpfer von Freddy Kruger in "Nightmare on Elm Street", sowie der "Scream" Reihe bekannt.In diesem Film wich er vom Horrorgenre ab, und liefert einen sehr spannenden und fesselden Thriller ab.Die Darsteller sind überzeugend,das Finale sehr gut.
