super cute and simple for rainy days
I got this for my son who is a huge fan of monsters and muddy puddles. I didn't want to go all out and get something too thick or too extravagant, so that he would be able to carry it in his backpack at school. I was pretty satisfied with it. It's made big to fit a wide range of ages and sizes. My son is 6 but he'll probably still be able to wear it at 12!!! I've read the other reviews and I will say yes it's thin material. BUT it's not as thin as it seemed to be. Those reviews honestly made me worry that I was buying a disposable glove instead of a jacket!! I mean..it's thin but not too thin. It's not a thick rain coat it's just a light jacket. I don't really see it being an issue for my son. Unless he really roughs it up a good few times I dont honestly see him tearing holes in it. I got what I needed which was just a simple raincoat that's light enough for him to carry around at school in case it rains. The only thing I wish was different would be for the matching umbrella to come with it instead of buying it separately. An umbrella I can't even find!! In the picture I totally thought it would come as a set so that was really disappointing.

Beware.. super thin
I usually don’t give bad reviews but dispite the cuteness of this item and how thick it looks in the pictures this item is just super thin and not as large as you would think for one size fits most. I purchased this as a gift for my grandson he’s happy with it but I’m extremely disappointed with this purchase.

Not even water resistent.
It's cute, but absolute crap. Honestly you can find better quality at the dollar store. It was barely raining outside and my son in 10 minutes got completely soaked through! This raincoat isn't even mildly water resistant and it's definitely not water proof.I was concerned when I first got it because it was so thin, but thought to give it a chance. Big mistake. The only positive thing about this is that it is cute and my son really liked it.

Paper thin and as light as a feather. We ...
Paper thin and as light as a feather. We haven't used it yet and I'm extremely leery to. It seems so thin the slightest snag will rip it apart. It is huge on a 42 inch little one.

Great price and offers just what you need
Great for rainy days and not too expensive so you wont be upset if it should tear or they outgrow it. My son's is still in great shape and he has room to grow into it for the upcoming school year

Super thin.
I wish I would have noticed sooner to return the item, but I did not. My daughter wore this jacket twice and already it has a hole in it. Super thin.

Cheap
Very thin and cheap made. The material feels like the cheap throwaway rain ponchos.

Very light, easy to pack, good water protection.
This is a light raincoat and made with very, very thin material. Protects against wind and rain. Definitely needs to be worn over warm clothing on cold days. My son loves the fun color and pattern.
