Very good quality, slim, hardcover books. A bit pricey in my opinion for childrens books that are probably $2 each at a book fair, but it's a set so I digress.My son has memorized almost all of them, especially Oh Say, Can You Say!

I bought this book set for my 2 year old grandson. Although he can't read yet he LOVES the images and rhymy sing-songy storyline of Dr. Sue's. I felt like getting him to love the stories being read to him would encourage his interest in reading them himself some day soon. And since I grew up loving dr. Suess myself it has sentimental value to read and pass along to my grandchild. There is always a positive moral in all the stories and it sparks the whimsical and wildly creative imagination of a child. The books are hardback and have a sturdy spine to endure years of page turning and come in a great sleeve to keep the set complete. A great add to any child's library collection
