The Ways of Royalty Paperback – June 2, 2014

The Ways of Royalty is a beautifully written and illustrated book for children. It speaks of God's kingdom in a way that both little kids and older kids can understand or imagine. The engaging illustrations are great for both parents who read to their children, and for children who will read the book on their own. It's written in a way that adults can appreciate the story too. A great addition to any child's book shelf or a youth ministry's shelf. I look forward to reading other books by this author.

This book is one of my kids favorites.. such an amazing point, and in kid friendly teaching on how two siblings lost their parents, were adopted by people who were cruel and changed their names.. the kids were wounded and began to act out of hurt and pain, and then a man came when they were at their worst ( a depiction of Jesus), crowing them with honor and glory once again, and their kingdom was rebuilt, and they were once again walking in the calling to which they were born..

I bought this for our kids. Our seven almost 8-year-old daughter absolutely loves this book! Our 10-year-old picks it up and reads it on his own from time to time and has really enjoyed the book!

I love Kris Vallotton’s books and messages and this book is a wonderful story that teaches kids kingdom identity and culture in a meaningful way.The only thing I am not in love with is the quality of the illustrations and printing. The graphics look hazy; I’m not sure why. It bothers me because I’m a graphic designer, but my kids don’t notice.

Such a sweet book for children by Kris Vallotton. The rhyme in it is adorable and the illustration is amazing! You [of course] won't be disappointed with this buy. Presents essential, eternal, wonderful truth that children NEED to know.My only critique is that I wish it came in board not just paper. But definitely a 5 star reguardless!

A beautiful take on the classic fairy tale story but with a Christ-centered identity message. We need more children's books like this. A great reminder for the adults reading to the children as well.

Recommended from a popular Christian blogger... Within the first couple of pages the kids' parents die in a fire.... I mean, can't we just have a book that doesn't mention parents dying FOR ONCE...? Otherwise, a nice book. I returned it once I got it because it upset my kids and they take a lot to get upset. Bummed!

We love Kris V and the whole Bethel team. Finally a great book for kids, and the illustrations are so fun. I feel like this is the most important message for our kids today. We also bought some for presents as well.

Simple re-telling of the adult book on Supernatural Ways of Royalty. Really good illustrations. The message is clearly written for children to understand that we all need to be reminded who we are. Great to discuss with children as to the storyline and the role of the characters portrayed. What a great little guide book for children everywhere to know and never forget who they truly are - and to live worthy of that.Adults reading this to younger children cannot fail to see the truth and reflect on their own experience of life to date -perhaps recovering their own dignity of royalty once again? Recommend to all ages- children who can read, parents for story time and grandparents for special time with the grandchildren visiting
