The Tree Doctor: A Guide to Tree Care and Maintenance Paperback – Illustrated, February 21, 2017

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in trees and how to care for them. The author explains things in easy to understand terms and doesn't get technical. It is definitely a book for the layman. I personally loved it and learned a lot.

I thought it would contain more about treating tree wounds. I wanted something to tell me how to repair some of my trees that were damaged in a storm. The title is misleading but it’s still a good read.

Some good information, but not much depth

If you know anything about planting and caring for trees at all, you will most likely not find anything new or useful in this book. In fact, some of the information is simply wrong, or outdated. It's probably a good book for kids who are interested in trees, but look elsewhere if you need more than just the basics.

Not enough about fruit trees

Dad loves it. As a new orchard/copse owner it is very informative. Great book.

Disappointed it was not what we were expecting and did not cover most UK trees. Next time I will research more through waterstones,
