We’ve purchased stair step treads in the past and they’ve been pretty basic and nothing to write home about. Now that we’ve just finished our stairs we wanted nicer treads and these don’t disappoint. They are super soft. They feel amazing on bare feet. They are also thicker than I was expecting. They feel plush and really sturdy. The treads are easy to put down and they don’t move once down. We have dogs that love to run up and down the stairs so we definitely need traction (hopefully they hold up) but we also want them to look good on our new stairs. These are definitely worth the money and we plan on getting another set for our downstairs area.

I've been through several stair treads and these have been the best ones so far!! They get a lot of traffic from people and pets. While it's only be a few months, I can tell you they are good quality, thickness is better than most and they are easy to clean. I purchased the beige/ tan color and I have not had to wash at all so far, only vacuum. They are staying in place and look great!

I bought these step rugs to allow my dog to easily get up and down the stairs as well as to provide a less slippery surface for people navigating the staircase, as I have luxury vinyl flooring. This product is easy to install if you follow the recommended instructions. The single crease from packaging smoothed down in a couple of days of use. Would recommend and purchase again.

Must say, especially for the price, these did not disappoint! Originally was going to pay more for the kind that curve around the step until i found that they would not fit my smaller basement staircase. Was looking for something cozy, thick enough, with hopefully decent adhesion to painted wood stairs. These really turned out great! Used care when removing the backings, had scissors & exacto knife handy, peeled at an angle toward the outer edge, & didn't have much of a problem. I cleaned the steps thoroughly first, & applied. I have 2 toddlers that use the steps daily as well as myself & a cat, & have had no problem with them moving or sliding. They stay put. & even though they are not very padded, they do have a thick enough soft pile that its now a world of difference walking down to the basement. Actually does feel soft & cozy & does a bit of noise muffling as well. Very pleased with this purchase, especially as they had the size i needed at a good price point.

These are nice quality. So far I’ve had no curling or sliding. However, removing the backing was an absolute nightmare. I tried several methods (pulling up, pulling sideways, pulling at an angle) since I had several. it would rip then you had to find the beginning again. I finally pulled up half way, cut with scissors and removed in smaller pieces. Eventually used tweezers to remove pieces on the most important part - edges.

I love these carpet mats. I can't say enough good things about them. They look awesome. The quality is top notch and they make such a difference on the naked steps. They are soft and plush and bring just enough cushion and softness to each step you take. They have multiple rows of rubber on the back side of each mat to securely keep it in place. The most tedious part was removing the thin cellophane on the back of each mat before putting it in place. The rule of thumb would be patience! If you try to tear it off quickly, it will rip and you'll be peeling multiple tiny pieces one by one. If you do it slowly, you'll be able to pull it off in two pieces. The best part of this mat is it leaves no residue on your steps so when you want to remove them, you just pull them off. They say they are washable, but I haven't tried that yet to make my assessment. I did purchase a few extras in the event I need to replace a few. I highly recommend this product and would buy it again.

These were perfect to work with. I am a single upper 40 year old gal. No instructions needed. I did these myself. I cleaned off my steps real good. Than layed each on on the steps to see before removing the plastic off the backs of them. Easy breezy. I took the plastic off and was able to lay them in place. The great thing is these are not a glue. They are a river type stripping on back. The great news about this is if you do not like how you placed them. They are super easy to move to the place that better suits you. These are highly suggested in my book. They feel good on the bare feet and help to reduce some of the light creekint the stairs were causing.
