DometicDM2862RB 8.0 Cubic Feet 2-Way Refrigerator

There's no way this refrigerator should cost as much as it does but it does work well. You can easily remove and replace it in a couple hours if you've never done it before. Half the time if you have done it before.My new unit performs exactly as the 12 year old one it replaced. The old one ran almost continuously for 10 years before it developed a leak and stopped cooling so I expect this new one will out last the RV.

I bought this refrigerator off of Amazon from RV and Auto Parts. The refrigerator did not work properly after it was installed. RV and Auto Parts will not take the return and say it is a Dometic warranty issue. Trying toReturn it to Dometic is not going well. I do not recommend buying any appliance off of Amazon or from RV and Auto parts.

It fit perfectly into a cavity for RM2862. Temperatures are: 35deg - bottom compartmentand -3 deg - freezer. Its actually a DM2872 per the supplied sticker.Big disappointment is that the front door panels from our old RM2862 wont fit.

Product was damaged when I unpacked it from what I seen. I hope it still works because we are going camping next week.

After 13 years the Dometic Refrigerator in my RV died. I ordered a replacement from Amazon since they had the best price. It arrived quickly and I was able to install it myself since it fit perfectly when I took the old one out. The only thing I'm not totally happy about it that the trim piece that fits at the bottom to cover the seam between the refrigerator and the opening wasn't included and I'm having trouble getting it. Other than that, I am happy as can be.

Why are the door panels extra? I guess I didn't read the description good enough. Another $430 + freight for panels is dumb. $2534 for the fridge should have included panels.

It I could do this review and give zero stars I would. Dometic handle design does not deserve the one star I had to give.The handle design is the worst ever. Got my refrigerator in April this year and have already replaced the handles 4 times. I can't even open the freezer, my husband has to open it because I have no more handles to replace them with.Do not buy a Dometic refrigerator. They are only sending handles and are doing nothing else to solve me problem.
