Cracking the AP World History Exam 2018, Premium Edition (College Test Preparation)

This book can be compared to the Kaplan review books, however, the Kaplan review books break down the information a little more. Overall, informational and easy to read with helpful maps.

Horrible - It claims to be 2018 but it was not updated. My homeschooling daughter used this book to get a hang of the format and got badly surprised during the exam! I bought this book in March 2018 from Amazon - how can they not update it? or at least give a warning.

This book gives detailed descriptions of the test and strategies. There are 4 full practice tests, and while they are useful it is not the most accurate. For example, some of the tests were either super easy or super difficult. I am giving it 4 stars because the content review is excellent. It's straightforward, gives timelines and even highlights the big picture/major concepts. Some of the material was not even taught in my class. If anything, I feel the content review over prepared me for the exam.

It's frustrating for a student to spend money on a book that's supposed to help you but its absolute trash. The essays (SAQ, LEG, and DBQ) are out of date. Thankfully history doesn't change so the material review shouldn't affect you. My friends and teacher recommend Kaplan reviews over this so I guess that would be your best bet but its sort of late since the ap test is next week

Really entertaining and instructive. Some portions of the book, the first three chapters, were a lot stronger than the last. Would have liked a deeper dive on the Auto Unions etc... I would read another book form this author.

NOT UPDATED WITH THE 2018 CHANGES TO THE AP TEST, most of the test questions are duplicated too. Basically the same book as the 2017 version.

Love it. Very helpful for my daughter who is currently taking the class.

I gave this a 4 Star and should have 5 if it does what it needs to do after my son takes his final test at the end of the school year. Looks like it is full of information. Very thick book!
