We are infuriated with this company. We have had the lock installed for a month but it will not connect to WiFi. My husband has called dozens (literally) of times and the support is terrible. No one can help you in real time, they have to call you back. We have had to coordinate getting a key to our guests and trying to schedule to call when a guest is not there in order to fix this. Our WiFi has worked and the lock simply won’t connect, and we’re outside of the return window. Our money spent for convenience and ease of a lock syncing with WiFi is completely wasted. Hours of our time have been wasted. We would never recommend this company to anyone and are purely offended by them.

The lock works fine with the key. Follow instructions carefully and the keypad will also work fine. That what any $50 lock will get youIt took some research to finally get it to connect to WiFi. When I finally connected it to the internet I found out that you have to pay $3 a month to use the internet feature. That was not mentioned anywhere in the protect description and is not something that I should expect when paying a premium price of $200 for a lock This is false advertising at it's worst.

Best Lock Ever! I just ordered my 3rd lock and have been so pleased with the first 2. The first one is on an Airbnb type rental, although I don't use the Airbnb integration. I can always see the status of the lock and can lock/unlock remotely, which is great since I live 200 miles away from that unit. 2nd one is on a detached garage at my home. I have it set to automatically lock at 10pm each night so we never have to go to bed wondering if we locked the garage. The 3rd one I just ordered will go on another external door we don't want to worry about remembering to lock. I love the customer interface via web (lots of features) and the app, which allows you to quickly add user codes, see the status of your wifi, battery life, and lock/unlock status. No, I'm not getting paid for this review. I just think this is one of the best gadgets out there. If you've left a negative review, you probably aren't using this correctly. I'm not all that tech-savvy but have been able to set them up and change wi-fi codes on them with ease. Only 4 stars for "ease of setup" because it does initially take some patience.

As an Airbnb host of 3 property. I’ve been using this lock for 3 years without a single issue. It’s a very reliable and useful tool for me. I can simply integrate it with my Airbnb listing. Every time there’s a new booking, the lock will automatically create a specific code for that guest and send instruction on my behalf. The only complaint is the installation. It seems the instructions are written by an engineer. You will need to be an engineer too to set it up correctly. Overall I’m very happy with the product. My suggestion is to hire a professional to write the instruction and promote your product. It has so many potential with proper advertising.

If I could give their customer support a zero I would. Lock failed within one year. Customer support is terrible to reach. Been unsuccessful after a week of calling and emailing their support. When the lock works, it works great. A nightmare for us and our renters when it fails.

Like a deadbeat partner will not connect with you, this deadbolt lock will not connect to WiFi. Save yourself the frustration and heartache, and find yourself a smarter lock and a smarter sigoth, as both your current ones leave much to be desired. Both do not keep promises and could also lock you out of the house in the rain when feeling moody.

I use this on my vacation rental and I couldn't be happier. I pay a subscription and it automatically generates access codes and emails them with welcome instructions for each guest. Then automatically deletes the guest code after checkout. Note the automatic email works great on Airbnb. VRBO you have to manually add each guest email to the system. I have had 70+ guest stay at my property since I installed it and not one guest has call me for help.

This lock is absolutely laughable at how poorly it Pairs.On first attempt, I managed to sync to the device, and successfully upload access codes and temporary user codesHowever, I would enter the codes and the lock would neither lock or unlock. The device itself doesn’t make any noise even attempting to unlock or lock, it simply does neitherAfter an hour of wasted time trying to figure out what the issue was, I contacted support who told me to read the instructions on the link they sent me. So I did, however this did not work.I did a master reset and follow the instructions for that, upon doing five master reset now, the unit no longer transmitter Wi-Fi code after an hour of wasted time trying to figure out what the issue was, I contacted support who told me to read the instructions on the link they sent me. Upon reviewing the instructions on troubleshooting if you don’t see a Wi-Fi network for the lock, it says to enter 123456# 135# It gets better, the unit does not have # Piece of junk is going back, not to mention it has high fees for something that doesn’t work.

This is my second lock with this company. Bought my first one 4 years ago and still going fine, I've never had an issue with it. Not even once. I decided I wanted another lock for another rental. They are the only ones that allow direct access, integration. Very easy to set up and the absolute best lock to have for anyone renting their home. Their is no other lock on the market that does what this lock does. Immediate access codes from anywhere in the world. Hence the price, but you don't get this convenience with anything else.
