Are the tops slightly fluted or straight. I want fluted!

There are no groves or ridges on the cup tops, which is what "fluted" means to me (I actually can't even imagine what that would feel like on your lips). But the very top of the mug flares slightly, if that's what you mean. It is not just straight up and down.

No .. They are very very nice .. Not heavy at all..

Any way I could purchase just the two lighter cups on the left hand side of the picture?

This particular product seem to come in pairs only. I've got the 2 darker ones parked in the back, anticipating that I'll drop one of the lighter ones eventually. :-(
