Excelent, as expected from Mora
Tried it straight from the package with 2 types of dry wood, worked very good . Amazing knife, at least for me as a beginner woodworker. Unpack it with caution: it comes very sharp already.

Push-pull, right-left design has its advantages.
I was concerned about the sharpened 2-sided nature of the knife, but it certainly has helped rough carve a cup I am working on. When grain changes cause a ragged cut, it is easily corrected. Handle is a bit rough/grainy but seems to grip nicely. Moderately sharp right from the factory. None of the knife handles are designed to fit everyone's hands perfectly but this tool needs to be shaped for multiple techniques due to its push-pull and right-left use capability. Since it is new to me, I need to be aware of double side sharpness. Watched You-tube and a fellow whittler, put tape around the near to handle cutting surface, I now understand the reason for the tape.
