Gator Finishing7363 400 Grit Aluminum Oxide Sanding Sponges (1 Pack), 3" x 5" x 1"

I have always used the 3M sanding sponges... with a little bit of angst. I think they rip easily and not very versatile with woodworking. When I saw the 400 grit though I had to have it and I can tell you I will be buying more grit levels and ditching the 3M. The sponge is more of a dense foam, like a memory foam. seems way more durable than the 3M sponge which is more of a glorified dish sponge to me. the sanding surface works the wood fantastically, a nice smooth finish but working fast. Highly recommend.

Great for removing light rust off of metal

This is a great product. I use it for finishing. I have older ones that are 400 on one side and 600 on the other. Would recommend you check your local ACE or TRUE VALUE stores as it costs much less. I thought the Amazon one was a larger quantity pack, but fortunately kept reading and saw this is only a single package. I guess if you can’t find it, it’s worth paying double with the mailing expense.
