Watch it, love it, watch it again!
So we all thought that reality TV was on its way out the door and then came `Jersey Shore'. That only meant one thing had to be done...Drawn Together had to make a comeback! Thus, what we loyal and sick minded fans got was our long awaited `Drawn Together' movie. Now, if you are a fan who bought the Uncensored Season DVD's the first few minutes may not be as enjoyable because you have already seen how far this show can go. I have to say with the other adult cartoons that have been given their own movies, Drawn Together may in fact be the best one. The writers really did all they could to put together an offensive gem, getting the whole cast back and giving the fans all the jokes they love one last time. Still, the most impressive part happens to be the plot itself. It was a great way to pick up where the show left off and give these wonderful characters a real send off. Seth McFarlane plays the role of a new enemy, which may be one of the cleverest of offenses toward international politics . The story even gives us great character development of the Jew Producer. In the end you might actually love the guy after all the dumps he took on the DT gang. While there are a few major differences such as the fact that the movie is done in flash, to me it wasn't a major issue. The acting and the story of this movie were just as funny as the series itself. If you loved the series as much as I did you will barely even notice any serious changes. The special features are great as well. My favorite would have to be the minisodes. These are perfect for a first time viewer of anything Drawn Together. But, truth be told you really should watch the series before you tackle the movie. The opening title sequence of the movie to me was my favorite part. While it really has nothing to do with the movie itself it just gives you a little in your face DT 101. I don't want to spoil it for you neither do I want to spoil the surprise you get during the end credits. You will just have to see them for yourself. So grab a seat and hold on to whatever you feel most comfortable gripping and prepare for one last hysterical romp for those 8 lovable characters you quote in public every day of your life.

Basically a long (3x) Drawn Together episode
Making a review of the Drawn Together Movie proves to be difficult, for DT itself does not follow any recognizable "template" or set of standards. But I'm a fan, and I believe there are some more fans out there willing to watch this movie, and ready to know from others how good it was. For people who are not familiar with the Drawn Together universe, watching this flick risks to leave them feeling really awkward. I'm writing this review for those who watched DT when aired in TV.I watched it today on demand, and, well, DT the movie seems to me to be just a three times long episode of Drawn Together. I say this bearing in mind the South Park Movie, a fantastic musical that added a lot of elements to the series standard. Having thought of the SP movie as "awesome", the DT movie falls certainly nothing near that. The beginning of the movie is promising (the first scene shows Toot inside a bar in Bedrock, that's cool, and there are some other good parodies too). The whole idea is a quest to the existence of the show and its characters. It's somehow like watching "Seinfeld, the movie" dealing with the four main characters trying to justify their presence on TV. What's the point of that? Coincidentally, our heroes manage to show us that no point is necessary for themselves to exist, which holds true for the show, but not necessarily for the movie. While the "coolness" of every episode relies on doing lots of crazy things, the movie requires a consistent plot to "justify" the antics in it. Again, what SP accomplished, DT did not. But in the end I was not disappointed, for prior to watching the movie I was really eager to have fun (the movie is certainly fun), and as well to see my beloved characters one more time.I gave it 5 stars for I enjoyed it, but if 5 stars meant awesome and a "must see", then probably I would have needed to rate this movie with a plain 3 ("entertaining" and "watchable").

great like the rest but someone didnt do their series homework.
great like the rest but someone didnt do their series homework.i liked what i could see on video demand. i like the series any how. this waspast the standards of the rest of the series.someone didnt realize in the picture the cast is wearing their 3d glasses backwards (blue goes over right eye).one issue with the movie .... someone didnt do their series homework.see what i mean as you watch this movie ...hint: (WARNING: MAJOR 3rd seasonlast show and this movie spoilers)at the end of last show of the last season they were ALL GIVEN PINK SLIPSand carrying all their belongings with them.now i know that was a parady of a entertainment elimination show but since whendo you get pink slips from a just a tv show ... it meant the cast was fired, right ??? ...now while you watch see what i mean. i caught the goof/mistake real fast duringone part of the movie.

A fitting straight-to-DVD movie for a show too smart for the room
The Drawn Together Movie brings the series out of retirement to the delight of fans everywhere. To my surprise, it is even more tacky and crass than the series. It is very short for a movie, and is padded with a "Flintstones" sequence which is run twice. The plot is crude and simplistic, just like the show. At all levels it delivers what fans expect. Noteworthy is the switch of animation companies and styles from cell to Flash. Only super animation nerds can tell the difference. The creators say that it was produced for the same cost as a single episode, so hopefully they made some money. It's worth the 12 bucks.

The Drawn Together Movie
While the humor is crass and can be darkly funny - and some it's just so plain dumb it's not even funny. :-P Some of it is done in such a way that there's actually a moral to it.

Bought the movie as a companion to the 3 season set.
Offensive, funny, not for all. For those that might like Family Guy, South Park and Beavis and Butthead, you may like this as well.

Good but....
I got to start with saying the movie is a rather lackluster way of finishing this show.it has all the same elements of the TV show missed in with a bigger more shocking ratio of gross out joke and racial humor. But all that said it was lovely to get one last chance to see the gang together again :)Extras on this dvd raise the overall content to a 5*
