Johnstone's 306533 Non Drip Gloss Paint - Brilliant White 750ml

I bought one tin around Xmas last year. To revive a worn rust looking rad in bath area. I prep 1st and once done It looked like new after, I used it on all other rads, I believe it covered 6 of them. I put bristles tip only and used small amounts. The coverage is very good so only did one coat. I then bought another tin to redo doors. Very hard wearing versatile paint. It’s great quality and at good price. If I can use it to do DIY at home, then it’s easy to use. I wore disposable gloves and protected floor below. It was so smooth on application I was able to paint more than one radiator in a day. Doors you will need small sponge roller and it will have a gloss effect. I am very happy with purchase and will buy again for other projects

Why is it so difficult nowadays to get coloured gloss paint, i don't see why i have to pay extra at those fancy mixing stations to have basic colours mixed, enter this product, it is just what i wanted and at a reasonable price, indeed this paint is cheaper than the boring white gloss that turns yellow after a few years. I like Johnsons paint, there used to a wide range in B&M but they do not stock too much now. This is an oil based paint, you need white spirit to clean the brushes, but it flows and is easier to apply than the water based stuff that is stocked everywhere. This paint gives a flatter and deeper shine than the dulux water based rubbish i purchased that leaves brush marks or pitting if you use a foam roller. I hate decorating, probably like most people, so want the job done with minimal time and effort, this paint is less work than the water based stuff because it flows into itself to give a more consistent finish in less time. Great stuff

Great gloss and colour. It takes about a day and a half to fully dry but it's worth the wait for the end results. I would definitely recommend and buy again.

Easy to use, leaves a high gloss, super smooth finish. Very bright white.
