YETI Rambler Half Gallon Jug, Vacuum Insulated, Stainless Steel with MagCap, Alpine Yellow

Now i gotta start off holy is the jug expensive but after i got it home i understood..... it's made of really decent quality materials through and through i was really worried about the lid and when i first got it but upon inspection i knew exactly what the issue everyone has with it the lid... it must be secured down until the gasket presses into the hull of the jug that is a difficult task with just water to lubricate the gasket as you spin it on it the gasket begins to make contact with the hull and causes the lid to bind on the last quarter turn i took some olive oil and with just the lightest film on the gasket i can now tighten down and open the lid with considerably less force the seal is consistent every time and im not worried about stretching or tearing the gasket its just a small piece of maintenance you must commit to after every couple fills when it begins to bind or after you wash it. The mag lid is pretty cool and so far im impressed the magnet is strong and holds the cap firm holds just enough water to get me through 12 hours im happy with my purchase i also ordered a 10 oz tumbler and after seeing this thing i have no doubt that itll also be a quality product

Really glad I bought it. I've had ice in it that lasted 2 days. The water is so cold it's hard to chug sometimes. The lid takes some muscle to get off however. I wanted this one because i its easy to clean. You can stick your whole hand right in it. Overall very worth it.

I work as an underground miner here in Canada. The temps underground get pretty intense at times, usually 30-40 degrees during the summer and sometimes hotter depending how deep. I purchased this jug hoping it would perform a lot better than the ones the company provides (Coleman and Igloo brands) as I hate when my ice melts 3 hours into a 12 hour shift. From the first week of ownership, I find this jug keeps ice all shift. I had it hanging outside the scoop cab, and at the end of the day I still had some ice floating, and ice cold water. Well worth the price if you don't mind investing into yourself to make your job more enjoyable. Sturdy handle allows you to attach a hook and hang it where you need to, off screen or on equipment unlike the coleman style jugs where the handle will rip off if you swing it the wrong way. 10/10 so far.

I own several Yeti products, and this jug performs as well as expected. I fill it with water for baseball games and with shandy for an afternoon of disc golf. I have only one point of concern: the lid can be very difficult to unscrew, and I don’t think I’m over-tightening it. (If it’s not screwed down tightly, it will leak.) I use the handle for leverage, but I’m worried that this might eventually put too much stress on the handle’s hinges.

Great quality water jug ! Expected nothing less from yeti !! Great product.
