This more or less did the job, however my dog is a contortionist and we had to watch him the whole time but this seemed to work better than the plastic cone of shame and the inflatable one we have

It’s pointless complete waste of money only good thing is it’s a great frisbee other than that doesn’t stop dog from licking any part.

My pom had a rash on the belly from some long grass in the summer they would not leave alone, as soon as you turn your back he was biting and licking at it, causing some large sores to appear, got some cream to soothe it from the vets, but then he kept licking that off, We were loaned a cone of shame that we tried him with, but he really could not get on with it, and was really subdued while wearing it, purchased this soft version in the hope that he might find it at least a little easier, but he was not bothered by this one in the slightest, allowed us to slip it over his head, did not even have to make it a tight fit, Although it is soft, he could have got to his belly if he tried or even slipped his head out of it, the way we had it secured, but he did not at all, and the problem soon cleared up. Would recommend this for smaller dogs, that struggle with those rigid plastic cones, Not sure about a large dog with one though.

This has been a useful alternative to a cone. Our current foster dog has had her ears thoroughly flushed from infection, as well as her spay up, so I didn’t like the idea of a standard cone of shame making her ears warm.Only issue is that the drawstring can be loosened with only fairly light pressure so I replaced the drawstring clip with a stronger one.

I have a little Mal Shiz and she had an issue with biting her tail . This collar is perfect , soft but just enough that she can't reach her tail . Seems to find the collar quite comfortable and acts like a pillow when she sleeps . Highly recommend for after op's or just keep away from biting body parts .

We had a Velcro cone and my dog hated the sound it made when taking it off. This cone is amazing! It’s soft he’s not bothered when I put it on. He can play and relax. I love the adjustable string - it’s quite to fit to his neck and doesn't upset him. Soooo happy I found this! Also the blue colour is soothing, I worry that hectic colours/patterns will disturb his sleep. We are dealing with an injured back paw - so it’s versatile. Really pleased!
