I wish I had this text when teaching drill and ceremonies in the Army, did we have it easy. After reading this text you will understand why the soldiers of this era were known for their discipline, it takes a lot of training to face charging cavalry and not run screaming. Very good illustrations of every move. Good stuff, check it out.
