GMS Optical® 1.8mm x 13mm Short Anti-Slip Adhesive Contoured Silicone Eyeglass Nose Pads: Highly Recommend! Great sticking. Comfortable. Moved Progressives up so I don’t have to tilt head back. These saved me $400. My new Tiffany brand frames rested on the bridge of my nose not on the sides. The lenses were impossible to view through because I had to tilt my head back to view in the correct part of the Progressive lenses. I was ready to pay $400 to have the lenses remade. I thought I would try nose pads first to make the frame more comfortable. I measured the distance between the pads on my metal frames then measured the distance between the plastic frame sections where it should touch my nose. It was about 4 mm too wide. I bought these and the longer 1.8 and the long next thicker size. I cleaned the frame inside the nose area with lens cleaner and wiped it and waited for it to dry. This keeps face grease from preventing sticking. The thicker were too thick. These are perfect and look like part of my clear plastic frames. BONUS: I did not need new lenses once the height was raised.

I've used these for a couple of years. While it's true that the adhesives fall apart and slip after a while, they make my plastic frames comfortable and fit much better on my low bridge (i.e. Asian) face. Depending on the weather, each pair can last anywhere from 10 days to a month. During hot, humid summer days, the adhesive can start to break down after 8 to 10 days, requiring replacement. Frankly, I don't mind. They are affordable, easy to use, and I'm able to wear glasses with fashionable plastic frames that don't hurt my face.

I'm 51 years old but have a narrow face and nose bridge which basically limits me to wearing children's frames. I recently purchased new glasses on a "2 for 1" special and, though they were children's frames, they sat a bit low on my nose. This caused the "progressive" lenses to be out of alignment. These silicone nose pads did the trick!!! The pads lifted my glasses to just the right height and they sit perfectly in place and do not slip down at all! They are indeed made to fit smaller frames! I've had this set of pads on for almost a week and they're still very adhesive and secure even with wearing make-up and moisturizer on a daily basis.

I seem to either love or hate what I review! In this case, I wish I had been told about these things sooner! I have a smallish nose and bridge and most glasses were not an option as they would sit on my cheeks. Smiling, chewing gum, talking, etc would make glasses SO uncomfortable. For me, these small pads raise the glasses up just enough that they don’t rest on my face! They are easy to put on and are barely noticeable while wearing. I no longer leave my RX sunglasses in the car for fear of the glue on the pads getting too hot. Other than that, they work perfectly.

Easy to use and works great for me as I have a lower nose bridge. Sticks well, only had one fall off my backup glasses but I did remove and reapply it so the adhesive most likely wore off. On my main pair though, they stick very well. Even has stayed on after I dipped my glasses into water to clean them.
