Age Of Ultron

Great story

Age of Ultron started off exceptionally good and interesting but began to get a bit boring in the middle of the book coming down to the end.I think this comic should have had a better middle and end due to the great start of it. This is the reason for it losing one star. Spoiler alert, Ultron himself barely shows up in the book,if i had to day who was the star of this comic, it would be wolverine. I don't have any complaints on the art work it was pretty good. Age of Ultron ended of with a great epilogue which i'm planning to buy the follow up to. Despite the negates i mentioned earlier i still enjoyed reading it and highly advise marvel comic lovers to buy it.

It’s a classic worth the buy

A quick WARNING to anyone buying this graphic novel, it is not the same as the upcoming movie, The Avengers: Age of Ultron even though they share the same name. That being said, if you like graphic novels and would like to learn a little bit more about the character of Ultron before the second Avengers movie comes out, definitely buy this book. You see pretty much everyone in the Marvel universe in this book including Wolverine, the Fantastic Four, all of the Avengers, and Ant-Man. I recommend reading Civil War after reading this one, it makes a good companion and ties into the Marvel universe on the big screen.

This was a birthday gift for the next gen fans of the comics in my household. And she loves this. In fact, I may have unleashed another comic book fan in this world. As far as story goes, it is awesome. It is the story of the ultimate AI - Ultron who realizes that it is us, humans, that need to be eliminated to save the world. And that is the whole premise. I would recommend this book to fans of comics as well as the fans of Sci-Fi. There are superheroes super villain and the conflict to be able to survive. The quality of drawing is awesome too. Hardcore Sci-Fi fans may think this is not "plausible" plot ... that is what the medium of comics does - takes us on the flights of fancy into the fantastic world. Enjoy the story.

The first problem that I ran into is that there multiple editions and releases that appear to be the same thing. I did my best in trying to determine if this was the right one. My conclusion: maybe? For the story, I was a bit underwhelmed. Ultron shows up and then the next page, he had taken over the world. There are flashbacks but, surprisingly little showtime for the villain. Maybe there's more? I don't know.

No spoilers! However, there is one glaring plot hole that cannot be easily overlooked that detracts from what would be an excellent 5-star book. Dr. Doom’s time platform always creates an alternate timeline. Another detraction is the finale ending in yet another cliffhanger setup for the *next* event. This ending was so good without the added drama. Otherwise, as good a Kindle Unlimited reread as when I first read the series from my LCS.

What a good twist! This story felt like a modern day Days of Future Past storyline and it still works. It was really good and I absolutely love the Wolverine!
