Does exactly what it should

Liquitex Fluids Acrylic Medium - Gloss, 16 oz bottle: Works as a varnish and protectant for delicate surfaces. Thinned with water or other fluids dulls the finish for a more matte presentation. Works as a glue for collage (very quick method) as well as other things, materials, surfaces. Thins acrylic or watercolor paint or hybrid pigmentations. You need to experiment there. Fantastic effects when mixing colors of paint in suitable glob of medium- work fast (and don't touch!) for amazing cloudy dispersions. Brush on in thin layers for the brightest coverage. Takes a sad, dull picture and restores deep saturated coloration. Liquitex is the first acrylic medium, from the introduction of acrylics.

This gel medium, while a bit pricey, is a wonderful product for it’s adhesive properties and effects. It has an even glossy finish and is easy to apply with a brush. It’s also easy to clean with soap and water. I use it to adhere dried flowers onto paper and the results are beautiful. I highly recommend this product as an alternative to a matte finish depending upon what you’re looking for.

Works fine

I use this for gel plate printing. It’s great for pulling a print without having to use a colored paint.

Used it as a gloss coat it does dry nice and glossy, does take a little patience brushing it on the piece if it’s not a flat canvas. Also I might of mixed a little bit too much distilled water in and made it runny and bubbly but it’s easy to work out and get it to the level of coverage you need. And now that I know there is a specific varnish medium I look forward to trying that out.

I have never tried one of these before, and I’m so happy that it works! I do a lot of paint by numbers and the paint tends to harden really quickly and become sick. A tiny doll above this will soften the paint and make it much easier to use. Great value for money.

Me ha gustado mucho y tiene un acabado muy fino

Un prodotto di cui non posso più fare a meno da quando l'ho scoperto. Il costo potrebbe sembrare alto ma in realtà non se ne usa molto per cui considerata la quantità il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo. Ne faccio principalmente 2 usi, il primo è come ritardante ed il secondo come vernice finale sul dipinto per renderlo lucdo. Questo secondo utilizzo è quello che faccio sempre. Fornisce una lucentezza e brillantezza meravigliosa oltre che essere anche una protezione. Come lucido dò prima una mano diluita al 25% e poi una seconda mano puro. L'ho usato anche su dipinti fatti a spatola molto materici e la resa è stupenda. Consigliatissimo.
