Great band for the price, but if your watch is nice, you may feel it deserves more.
This is a pretty good band for the price. The links have nice brushing and are held together with spring pins. The end links are hollow (cant expect more for the price, but I can wish). It tappers nicely from 20mm to 18mm. The clasp is a fairly cheap stamped metal construction, but I actually kind of love it because its very thin, 5.5mm when closed. The clasp click on mine was a little uninspiring at first, but with a little bend of the clasp it clicks shut very well with confidence. The fold over V makes it even more secure- I'm not worried about it opening ever. When it arrived, the edges were a bit sharp on both the links and clasps, but I took a high grit sand paper (2000 grit) and smoothed up all of the edges and it's very comfortable now. With a little effort, it's a great band that I cant really complain about. So, it's a great band for the price and fits the SARB017 well enough- but having said that, it feels a little cheap for the watch- it's the weak link (no pun intended). This would be a great band for a $100-$300 watch. So I'm keeping it, but might throw it on my timex or a seiko 5. I think the Alpinist deserves a little more. I've also order the SARB017 3D oyster from strapcode/Miltat so anxious to see how it compares.

Nice quality for price - Inaccurate product details
Always a risk when buying this type of product from Amazon. In this case, the listed details of the item did not match the item that arrived. This says 20mm buckle and 18mm links... it is the opposite. 18mm at the buckle and 20mm at the links, so it did not fit the watch that I purchased it for. The links seem to require screws to remove as well, which was not stated in the details. The hunt continues for a decent two tone link strap for my two tone Timex.

A solid replacement bracelet
The bracelet is very light and there isn't a reassuring click when you buckle it initially, but the double lock helps. The bracelet tapers a bit toward the buckle so it looks nice and the brushed finish goes well with my watch. I bought this for the Seiko Alpinist - the end links don't match up perfectly, but doesn't look too bad. I have end links from another Seiko I will try.Overall it's a nice package and it came with three different end links and two spring pins. The end links are rounded and two different types of straight edges, but not sure how you'd use those with anything other than a rectangle watch. The resizing was as easy as it gets, which had been a problem with some of the other bracelets I've had recently. Overall, good value and my second purchase from DeBeers. Shipping was very fast, 3 days.

Functional, but not great.
It looks cheap, but that's to be expected. The biggest issue for me was that it stains my skin grey. There's some sort of finishing on the neutral that wears off very easily. In just the couple of minutes or took to attach it to my watch, I already had grey stains on my hands. It's an entirely functional piece, but I can't recommend it over other options.Just as a side note, this did come with both curved and straight ends, but requires that you already have pins. Also, the gold-ish colored segments have a brushed finish, not polished.

Curved ends DO come with it
The curved ends do come with the bracelet, but for some foolish reason they pack the ends under the foam.So if you don't see yours, just look under the foam. That said, it doesn't appear pins are included but your jewler may well give you some if you ask.
