Mobile Suit Gundam: Ms Igloo

I originally found out about this series via playing the strategy game Gundam D Generation Genesis, So I already had an idea of the story and characters, but even that game doesn't do this series justice. YES i know the CGI isnt the best but honestly its from 2004 -2006 you shouldn't be holding that against this series. It would be like watching the original Mobile suit gundam and complaining about the dated animation. But anyway back to IGloo. Great story and characters from start to finish. Disc #3 which shows the war from the Federation ground forces isn't as good as Disc 1 and 2 mainly because the characters are introduced and are gone by the end of each episode. Having said that there is still plenty of emotion and attachment to be had. Igloo did a great job at showing the Zeon side and I think passed on to the viewer how emotionally draining it would be knowing your on a loosing side of a war and how loosing brothers in arms takes its tole on a crew. Alot of brave heroic sacrifice and "love your Country" themes in this which I enjoy. Great stuff if you are a UC timeline fan. Highly recommended.

The story is okay, but it drags on, a bit. The animation isn't the best, it's very dated and looks like a perpetual Japanese game cutscene. If you've seen "Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2," that's basically what the animation in this product looks like.I bought this product because I'm a completionist and I wanted to watch the entire UC timeline from start to finish. I don't think it holds up for anything other than that.

Best anime I’ve watched! I know some people don’t like it but I don’t care! Lol!

I loved it. I am a huge fan of the UC timeline and its nice to see the One Year War from a different angle. Angel of the battlefield an interesting addition.

I love the Mobile Suit Gundam series and eagerly preordered this since it's finally available on Blu-Ray with English subtitles. Although the picture and sound certainly meet expectations and don't disappoint, the CGI which they present looks very dated. This isn't that much of an issue with the environments, backgrounds, and mobile suits/weapons, or even the textures. The lighting effects in many scenes are terribly executed with a haze around faces and objects sometimes there to make up for the technical limitations of what they could do at the time with the budget available, but even this isn't the biggest issue. Nor is the biggest issue the very creepy looking faces on the human characters, and the jerky, unnatural movements that they make.The biggest issue with MS Igloo is that it's just boring to watch. There's no connection built to the characters or even the mobile suits (which are introduced and quickly discarded over, and over, and over) and it makes the 9 episodes here feel like they slog on for longer than many 26 episode shows. I'd recommend this only for the most die-hard fans of "One-Year War" era UC Gundam, and for folks looking to simply complete a collection of Gundam media. If you're neither of those and just looking for a good show to watch, don't buy this.

The blu-ray itself and packaging is good, but this series is terrible, the CGI looks like it was made by a highschooler over a long weekend. Which if it was I'd say bravo to that teen. But considering this was put out by a professional studio for one of the longest running and most popular franchises. And I'm just blown away that this thing made it to air in its current state.

○　再生環境についてリージョンでは無く国コード設定をアメリカあるいはカナダに変更出来るプレイヤーが必要です。ps3は元々国コードがアメリカになっているようです。字幕はoffに出来ます。ビットレートも十分で画質に不満はありません。○　IGLOOについてIGLOOは、ガンダムシリーズ唯一の全編３ＤCG製作作品です。ただ、そのモデリングは製作当時のレベルから見てもイマイチです。それもあってか、評価もあまり良いモノとは言えません。観ていて爽快な気分になるモノではないですが、とても印象深い作品です。ほぼ全てのガンダムシリーズを観ている自分の中では、トップクラスに推し作品です。鑑賞可能な環境がある人には是非見て欲しいです。

特典映像の資料集は入ってないけどブルーレイはディスクの入れ替えの手間が無いのと最近多い強制ＣＭとか強制英語字幕が無いので良かったもちろんソニー製レコでは再生出来ないＰＳ４でも再生出来たのは当たり前かあとは価格変動が激しかった一日に何度も上がったり下がったりしていて自分はフルフィルなにがしから５６００円位で購入

視聴するにはリージョン等に左右されないプレーヤーが必要です。字幕無し可、日本語音声可。Ms Iglooの3作品が入っています。（3シリーズ×3話の合計9話）最近のCGと比べるとぎこちなさはありますが、話の内容がいいので気になりませんでした。

なかなか届かなくてやきもきしましたが、本日(２／２６)届きました。リージョンフリーのソニーで見ています。お買い得でした、感謝します。

国内盤一枚の価格でIGLOOシリーズが全て揃います。IGLOO,黙示録0079,IGLOO2それぞれ別ディスクの３枚組です。国内盤の様な付録は有りませんので付録が必要な方は国内盤を買った方が良いかと…自分はリージョンフリーの再生専用機で観てるので字幕は消せました。海外盤を視聴するならリージョンフリー再生専用機の購入をお薦めします。高いけど…追記PS3でも再生出来ました。字幕も「切」に出来ます。
