18-20 grams per bar of protein
Looking for some delicious protein bars? You'll love these! With a wide variety of flavours, these protein bars are a step above what you'd find in a supermarket or health food store. With flavours like pumpkin spice latte and Eton mess, these bars have a more 'upmarket' theme. And the white chocolate is a nice change from the milk chocolate found in most protein bars. I've tried a lot of protein bars over the years, and these are some of the best I've had. The flavours are great, and the texture is reminiscent of a chocolate bar like Lion, Mars, or Snickers. In terms of nutritional value, these bars have a good amount of protein with 18-20 grams per bar. And the calories are high, which is ideal for me as someone who burns through a lot due to my cross-training style. However, those on stricter diets should pay attention to the calorie count, fat content, and saturated fat content. Overall, I'm really happy with these protein bars. They're a convenient and delicious way to get the nutrition I need.

Interesting flavours
I'm always up for trying new flavours, and these sounded delicious. The quality of the packaging of the bars, as well as the branded box they come in, surprised me. The branding and packaging are very appealing. The flavours I received were raspberry ripple, lemon cheesecake, apple crumble, lemon blueberry muffin, eton mess, and pumpkin spice latte, all of which were coated in a decadent white chocolate flavouring. The flavours are not subtle and taste exactly as they are described. They're a little powdery, which is typical of most protein bars on the market. They do have a slight aftertaste, but it is still pleasant. Overall, flavorful protein bars that are low in sugar and high in protein. Ideal for on-the-go snacking and pre or post-workout nutrition.

Tasty high protein, high calorie bar
These are serious protein bars! Being 100% plant based and with flavours like blueberry muffin and eton mess, they are very on-trend.They come nicely packaged, although I'd appreciate the box being smaller as there's a lot of spare room inside. It's nice to have a variety of flavours in the pack and it's presented well with good nutritional info. For a vegan bar, these have a good amount of protein at around 19 grams per bar. Just be aware this also comes with a calorie hit - around 335 calories per bar. These would get a higher score if they were cheaper - at £27.99 for 12 they feel a little expensive, but they do have a premium feel to them.

Absolutely delicious, just a tad expensive
There are so many flavours in this box which gives you a great choice depending on your likes. I don't particularly like coffee so I am avoiding the pumpkin latte one, but the rest sound and have tasted lovely. The bars are quite chunky and dense but they do taste really nice. Some flavours are quite recognisable as their name and others you wouldn't be able to tell, but are still good. Some are a little powdery and leave a slight aftertaste but nothing nasty. The lemon cheesecake was quite tart and I'm assuming it must have some form of citric acid in it and that was the most powdery for me, but still edible.I am utterly impressed by these vegan bars, they all taste absolutely lovely so far. They are a bit expensive at £28 but they are good quality.

Very good
These are beautifully presented - that was the first thing we noticed. They come in a branded cardboard box and it all looks and feels very premium. The 12 bars are loosely scattered in the box and, my goodness, they're huge. They are easily a meal replacement - and at around 300 calories each they can be.You get 2 of each of the 6 flavours in each box, and it's really fun sampling them all - this is much more enjoyable than getting a box with just one flavour. They do somewhat suffer from the same problem most protein bars do, which is that chalky texture; we've only ever tried one protein bar which didn't have that problem (I'll not advertise another company here so I won't say the name of it) so it's not something Nourished have done wrong - it's almost universal with protein bars.On the plus side, the flavours do vary massively, so you'll definitely be able to find a favourite. Husband loved the peanut salted caramel (this flavour comes in the All Star Favourites box); I loved the lemon cheesecake which has a thin layer of lime jam for added sweet/sharp yumminess. To be honest, I don't think we would pay £27.99 for the 12 bars... that's more than most protein bars, and I don't know if they're nicer enough to warrant the extra cost. But that's not to say they're not good - husband thinks he'll probably find it hard to limit himself to one a day!On the plus side, also, they're made in the UK by a small British business, which is excellent. And they really are good, and so much fun to test and sample, so if my review is anything less than glowing, ignore those bits. I think they're definitely worth a try.
