Be careful...
I should have read reviews before buying it. Even though it is said that it is Asus Aura compatible, it is actually not. (It even says it on the box). This LED strip uses 3 pin connector, while what you need for Aura Sync is a 4 pin LED connector.Edit: after doing some research, some of the newer motherboards will have 3 pin connectors for addressable rgbs. When working these LED's look great though!!!

Dont buy. Description is missing MAJOR info, and it is NOT compatible with the products listed
I purchased this to add LED's to my Thermaltake Tower 900 Case. I use a Asus Prime X370 Pro motherboard with Aura Sync. This product is advertised as being compatible out of the box. This is NOT the case. These LED cables use a 3 pin connection. Asus motherboards with Aura Sync use a 4 pin setup with 12v, R,B,G. This is not compatible out of the box or at all.In fact the description on this product fails to acknowledge this at all. . Only when you pull this product up on Cable Mods main website do you see a disclaimer in bold "NOTE: Requires CableMod Addressable LED Kit, ASUS® motherboard with AURA addressable LED port, or GIGABYTE® motherboard with RGB Fusion addressable LED port to work."The funny thing is that cable mods does not sell the kit and Both Aura and RGB fusion motherboards use the same 4 pin motherboard connection. There is also no product that changes it from a 3pin to 4pin to make it compatible. This product will never work for what is is advertised for.

Nice.
Magnet isn't as strong as I thought it would be. Light output is okay, could be stronger. Only used cables that it came with, not all of them.

AURAgret Buying This
As other reviewers are stating, I got this LED strip SPECIFICALLY because it boasted ASUS Aura compatibility. Hilarious. Once you get the package, on the pack it says "Addressable LED Kit Required" which means they don't advertise that you need to buy additional stuff, which they don't seem to even sell, to get this strip to work properly (and even then, I doubt it will because this uses 3-pin connectors unlike the 4-pin connectors ASUS uses on their mobos). There's no denying that the "ASUS Aura Sync Addressable" printed front and center on the package implies that it's ready to go out of the box. Don't buy this.

Tricky, tricky
My Asus ROG Strix X470F Gaming motherboard would initially not turn on the strip using Asus's Aura Sync. So I went back to the MB manual and read, "... a maximum of 60 LEDs." So I cut the strip in half where indicated since there was 120 LED's in the total strip (from Aura Sync). Worked like a charm. However, the other half of the LED strip looks to headed to the scrap box. Oh well, now I know more about addressable LED's.

CableMod Addressable LED Strip RGB review.
Just ordered another one! With the RGB lights in my case this is the finishing touch. Just need the last one to finish the window frame. A word of caution, just make sure your motherboard has an addressable "3-pin" RGB header.

These LEDs work perfectly on the Asus ROG STRIX Z370-F. Just plug them into the addressable 3 pin RGB header and you can then sync them with Asus Aura. They show up as ADD STRIP.
