Whole Peeled Organic Tomatoes, 28 oz

Hands down THE BEST canned tomatoes you can buy in the US!!!!! The flavor is outstanding and the tomatoes are beautiful! I just put mine in a blender to make a sauce and could not be happier. All I needed was a little olive oil (Graza), garlic, anchovy paste, bay leaf and parsley to have a sauce that made me almost cry it was so good.

Bianco Di Napoli canned tomatoes, grown in California, are absolutely the best canned tomatoes in the US, including Italian imports. These tomatoes are sweet and intensely flavorful, none of that acidity and/or metallic tang that is often found in bargain brands. I don’t typically eat canned tomatoes straight up, but I will absolutely reserve a tomato to eat while putting the rest in what I’m cooking. The crushed tomatoes are unbelievably good, like a looser form of really high quality imported tomato paste. I’ll never be able to go back to using any other brand.

It's a little bit more expensive than some other brands, but there's really nothing else to say. This stuff beats out any of the DOP stuff we can get in the states. Sadly, I can't easily compare it to DOP stuff you can get in Italy. But this stuff alone, with a couple basic ingredients has made the best marinara I've ever tasted.
