Another review said this is a product you "don't realize you need until you try it". Coincidentally, that was the hook, line, and sinker to get me to click Buy Now.Unfortunately, I would now rephrase that line to, "this is a product you'll realize you don't need once you've tried it".Admittedly, it's a stunning reading accessory, well-crafted and high quality. Nice enough to give a 4 star review I'm not entirely sure it deserves. I wish it had the ability to enhance my reading experience functionally as well as it does aesthetically.I prefered the thumb-mostly-through grip over the grip shown in other images. It felt more natural, and covered less of the page. However, all grip styles will frequently break your immersion and demand your attention. Hold on, Stephen King, I'll find out what happens to the main character in a minute. First, I have to fiddle with this thing on my finger.There are three annoyances which have to be micromanaged as you're reading. The first one was obvious even before I ordered. Unless your book has gigantic bottom margins, it's going to cover the page. Unless you have x-ray vision, this is going to be a frequent annoyance.The second annoyance happens when shifting from reading the left page to the right page. An effortless transition without this accessory. I found myself uncomfortably twisting my wrist unless I switched hands between the left and right page. The subtle shift of angles is enough to warrant the exchange. Due to the asymmetrical nature of the updated angled thumb hole design, this also means flipping the accessory vertically while changing hands.Lastly, when turning the page, this means the whole accessory hand swap fliparoo described above, while also juggling turning the page.Of course, none of these annoyances are necessarily hard to overcome, but they're a lot of inconveniences for a product that's supposed to make reading more convenient. I tried the device with a few different books, hardcover and softcover, big and small, to see if that made a difference. It did not. This accessory will now remain on my bookshelf as a decoration.

I find I have to hold my hand in an awkward position, even with the angled hole. It also requires more fidgeting around every time I try to turn the page.I gave it 3 stars originally with the above comments. The seller reached out and offered a full refund. I added 2 stars because of the excellent customer support and service above and beyond what they “had” to do. I would definitely recommend giving their product(s) a try.

It works great! Love the angled feature of it! So much more comfortable! I don’t know how I read without it! A must buy for anyone that reads even a small amount. Nicely made and pretty wood. No rough spots or sharp edges. Would buy again!

I bought this to relieve strain from holding stiff books. It helps but did not find myself using it as often as I thought. You might like it if you are really struggling to keep books open for extended periods of time. Just not for me

Not only is this product gorgeous, it’s so functional. As a born again reader, this helps a lot! My only issue is my cat loves it too! Might have to get him his own….10/10

The first one I bought was really good in shape and quality, I had to give it to a reader friend of mine so I bought another one for me and it is very weak and not great in quality. I really wish I received the good kind as the first one. Not happy with my latest purchase.
