I have never had to use these, and I hope that time never comes, but at least these offer some peace of mind.

I bought 2 of these unit to install in the back of a large RV propane/electric absorption fridge just in case there is ever a fire 🔥 back there. Gives me peace of mind and hopefully they will never be used and if so they work as advertised ✅

I placed them in a couple different places in the engine compartment of my Rzr XP Turbo. After the first hard ride, when I got back to camp & parked, one blew up! Scared the heck out of me and my friends, at first I had no idea what happened. The smell is HORRIBLE! I had to remove 2 others in fear they'd do the same. So...I don't think they are quite designed to hold up to high heat.

If you own a laser engraver, you know how easy it is to start a fire. Lack of air assist, masking paper, or the nature of some materials can all contribute to this issue. I have my laser setup in the garage. I have it running while I’m working out there. I’ve had materials flare up a couple of times, and fortunately I was paying attention. I’ve seen this type of product demonstrated a few times. Despite their size, they are as effective as a fire extinguisher many times larger. This can be mounted by attaching screws, or with a double backed adhesive, which I chose for my application. Simply peel and stick. There's not a lot of clearance inside the K40 case, but I found a perfect spot above the exhaust port. The fire extinguisher trigger tubes just clear the laser head assembly as it travels back and forth. And since heat rises, having it mounted towards the top of the sloping cabinet will ensure it will activate quickly. While I will still be in the garage while the laser is operating, I now have peace of mind that if my back is turned, there won’t be a raging fire by the time I turn around. You can search online for pictures and videos of fires caused by laser engravers. This is incredibly affordable, and should be purchased the same day as the laser.

I'm working on converting an ambulance into a travelling home and will be installing a diesel heater to keep me warm in the winter. Those heaters are generally very safe, however it still makes me somewhat uneasy to install it 5 feet from where I sleep. When I saw this automatic fire extinguisher, my eyes lit up. This thing is tiny and easy to install in tight spaces. It's the perfect fail safe for my heater. If there was a fire in the compartment where it resides, this extinguisher would kick in automatically and take care of it. If it were to happen while I was sleeping, I'd image the noise from the burst of gas would also wake me up, allowing me to grab my manual fire extinguisher to take care of anything that remains. This unit seems well built. It includes the necessary mounting screws/zipties. It's the kind of product where I hope I never have to find out how well it works. In the meantime, it adds a piece of mind that will help me sleep easy. I highly recommend it!

This thing really is tiny. I have yet to personally use any of the new solid state extinguishers on the market. Though, it seems like the technology is well proven from what I can turn up so far. This one looks to activate by basically an igniting fuse (those little blue/red arms). It comes with cable ties as a method to secure. Looking at the temps needed before it goes off I chose not to do that. I used the adhesive tape to mount under the hood on our road trip car. Hopefully, there will be damage I'm sure but not a total loss or worse fatal at night. There are also screws that go into fold out fins. If you do that then you have to twist them out to the side.
