I normally don't write reviews but I was so impressed with the product design and functionality that I encourage those who are sitting on the fence to go ahead and make the purchase. It is not only beautiful in design but also very functional. It is a great addition to the kitchen or office.

It works for small books but I bout it for a large book as it’s supposed to be sturdy enough to hold but it’s just tops over.

This book stand from REBL is fantastic in theory but it is highly dependent upon the size of the book you are using. Just about any book should be able to sit in this stand as long as it isn't so big that it will topple it over. However, I have found that larger books and books that don't stay open well on their own without their pages folding over on themselves don't work that well with this stand because there is not a lot to hold the pages in place. Your best bet is small to medium-sized cookbooks.Despite those issues with this design, I actually got this stand to display my small instruments rather than books. For that application, it is wonderful! The wood looks nice and the two pieces stay locked together nicely. I have used it to hold my lyre harp (pictured) and my tambourine and it has been both attractive and functional for that purpose.
