Avon Soft Bath Oil 25 fl oz

This stuff is allegedly great for zillions of uses, and I can attest to a handful of them:1) as intended as a bath oil- smells great and leaves your skin super soft. Also leaves a treacherously slick bathtub behind once the water is drained, but soap takes care of that.2) I like to put it in a spray bottle and spray it on my skin immediately after stepping out of the shower before drying off with a towel- the water dilutes it such that there is just enough to add moisture without excessive greasiness.3) If you use self tanner this is a great product to use beforehand for a smooth application process. No more splotches or creepily tan knees.I’ve heard this is used by some as bug repellent, but personally I haven’t found it to have much of an effect.

Spritz on the shoulders of your clothes and on the cuffs of your pants and sleeves with a mist sprayer and on the rim of your hat and good to go with camping, fishing, the state fair.... No more plaguing black flies, gnats, mosquitoes in repeated return flights. They absolutely avoid you during any lawn mowing. I coated my hand with this bath oil, enough to make my skin soft and yet, not shiny to the eye, and then I waved it through a cloud of those sunset gnats you always see on still wind days, and they immediately broke up the cloud and dispersed. The beauty of this bath oil is that the scent never gets old. Smells like a rich baby powder with sweet caramel butter. It's been around for decades. A bit pricey now, but that's because it works multi-faceted. Watch out for slippery tubs after that capful use in the bath. Any kind of dish soap will get rid of the sweet ring left behind.

I love this product. I mainly buy it because it keeps the mosquitoes away. I put a capful in my bath and no mosquitoes at all. I also put a capful in when I bathe my dog and cat. Yes they are on medication but that does not stop the mosquitoes from biting. skin so soft does. Been using this for over 35 years.

Low rating solely because I question the integrity of this product/batch.I opened this when I was on my last few capfuls of THE SAME PRODUCT- only purchased through an avon representative directly.The item received was visibly thinner and the usually seal for protection was off as it was wrapped in plastic.I dont think this product is legit

It's a great product. I love the scent and it keep the bugs away. You have to put on a good layer. If you only do enough you can still get bit by mosquitos. I understand they are not promoting that but it does work. I swear by that. I tell everyone it's amazing. I also have pretty bad allergies and it's hard for me to wear perfume. The scent is perfect!What is not good, after a few days it feels like your skin is drying out. You can keep putting it on and it helps a little but doesn't help completely. You have to use moisturizer. It either one or the other. Take a break in between the oil.

I've been using Skin So Soft as part of my showering routine for so many years I've lost count. I use just a quick spritz before I get out of the shower for a little extra moisture in my skin care. I like the woodsy scent and yes, if you've heard it's a good bug repellent (particularly mosquitoes), you heard correctly. I'm glad you can buy it on Amazon now because it's been ages since I had an Avon representative in my neighborhood. So, if you're looking for a bath oil that keeps your skin moisturized, smooth, and has a pleasant fragrance, I recommend this long-time Avon favorite.

The order details picture the original scent, which is the one I wanted and the only one I use in the bath as a moisturizer. I received Soft and Sensual, which I do not use. I will keep the oil and give it to someone else, but I am sad that this happened.. I’ve always counted on Amazon for dependable service, but this time I was a bit disappointed.

I add water and put this on my little fur baby after her bath. I put one capful in a gallon of water. I pour it on her and rub it in. Then I towel her off just like I would if she didn't have the oil. She is still damp and ready to roll all over the floor, lol. I've never had the oil get on the furniture or cause any damage. The best part is it moisturizes her skin and fur. She has never had an issue with fleas, ticks and the mosquitoes do not bite her on her nighttime potty break. I've been using it on her for years and I think it's great. I would check online for more information before using this. But I love it. This is an excellent product. I received it quickly and I thought the price was good. I recommend this product.
