Original 5 STAR review: I never knew Franke made faucets! I'm loving it, esp because the handle is higher on the stem than a lot of other kitchen faucets. This was good for me because my in counter soap dispenser is only 3 inches away from the faucet. I need the higher handle to be able to use both. As for a kitchen faucet, it's great. Just FYI: The spray does stay on until you switch back to stream. Even if you shut the water off, whichever mode it was in before is what you'll get when you turn the water back on. Most faucets revert to stream when the water is turned off; this one does not. The faucet is very heavy and feels like it's very well made. Time will tell if it is!Follow up: Faucet is now 3 months old and it no longer works properly. The spray head won't go on full power or it's very very difficult to get it to get on to full power. It's also almost impossible to get it to the stream mode. When I can get it to stream mode, it's a weak stream and there's water dripping out around the faucet head. My next step is to reach out to Franke and hope it's under warranty and all I need is a new head that I can replace myself. Based on my experience, I can not recommend this product. That's a shame because I loved it when it worked.Follow up #2: It took me less than 10 minutes to get through to Franke Customer Service, explain my issue and process an order for a replacement part. Back to 5 stars after using customer service and getting a fast resolution,

Looks beautiful, feels high quality. The only downside is that it only swivels right and left and you can take it out of the "holster" to spray around but you can not pull it down to spray into corners. It only stretches as far as the giant coil on top will let it go which is not very far. Having installed several faucets before, this is by far the easiest. If you have even a pinch of handyman ability, you can install this yourself.

Purchased in August of 2017. As of June 23rd, it has started leaking around the spray head where the selector button is. You can't open the faucet all the way or water sprays everywhere. Sent an email to Franke support 3 days ago and have not heard back. I notice it is much cheaper now than when I bought it. We thought it would go good with our Franke ceramic farmhouse sink and it does but now I'm not too happy. No parts available online.Update:After waiting several days for Franke to follow-up our online customer support requests and getting no response, I called them on June 29th. Told them what the problem was. They sent me a replacement head which I received on July 5. I was doubting they would send anything since they never responded to my online customer support requests so I bought a replacement faucet fixture (Delta Touch 2 0). I'll just keep the Franke as a spare when the Delta goes out.

July 2021: Another OEM spray head failed (water not jets out from several parts of the head whenever the water is running), this time after less than 11 months of use. Fortunately, I found one supplier online that had the part (F207501) in stock. Annoying to have the spray head fail so quickly. Even more annoying that I can't just install a (even temporary) replacement.August 2020: Overall, I have enjoyed this kitchen faucet for the last 2.5 years of use. Like many others, I eventually sprung leaks from the spray head (a seal failed that cannot be accessed without damaging the spray head). I contacted Franke, who provided the part number (F207501) and revealed that the hose thread is proprietary to this product. Thankfully the replacement spray head isn't that expensive (retails for $27), but I couldn't find anyone in the US with the part in stock. The quickest anyone can even ship it to me is 7-10 business days. Bottom line: nice faucet, but I recommend buying from manufacturers with easier to source parts (or that at least are compatible with generic parts for temporary use).

I love it so far, but it's only been one week! Looks great w/the honed marble counters. My husband got a chrome finished faucet in the island & doesn't go amiss! They both look great! Very functional, especially for left-handed people like me. :)One drawback, & I hope it gets better with time, is that it doesn't pull down far enough into a deep sink. That makes it splatter around the sink but just a little.

Like the look, and felt high quality when new, but spray head now leaks _everywhere_, from the top, from the side button, from the spray nozzle even when off. Part was hard to find, another reviewer found the part number: F207501. Would not buy again.

Like other reviewers, it was a bear to remove the old faucet, but easy to install the Franke faucet. I saved the box for a month, in case there was any problem, but haven't needed to return it. I feel a little silly/superficial that a faucet could bring me happiness, but I'm really, really enjoying it. It's perfect.

I like the style, but the spray head always drops out when you shut the faucet. Is there anyway of fixing the problem?Very disappointed, but hopeful you can solve thisThank you,Christine Wardak
