Great value for money
I bought this to cut 2.5mm 4 core armoured cable on a lighting installation.Because of its low price I thought that this would be its only capability. I was wrong ! I have cut up to 50mm 4 core SWA with relative ease. Miles better than a hacksaw 👍

These do cut SWA.
The quality of this item is excellent, very similar to ones that are ten times the price!I bought them to be honest without seeing that they are not for steel. I have however tried them on 10mm 3 Core SWA and they went through like butter.I would definitely recommend them.

It is what it is - Inexpensive and sufficiently effective
You get what you pay for, and if I required strong reliable professional cutters I'd stump the cash and buy Knipex. However, for occasionally cutting cables considerably smaller than the somewhat dreamy specifications suggest (e.g. 4mm2 and 6mm2 solar cables, and probably larger), then these will get the job done and save you much time for not a lot of money. You just have to respect that if you push cheap tools towards questionably-specified limits, they're prone to fail, and good reason why professional tools command the prices they do.

Wouldnt even go through a 35mm flexi tail
Thought these would be suitable for cutting 35mm+ single copper tails, however i was wrong, poor build quality means that the last few strands of copper get wedged inbwtween the two cutting jaws, they get jammed and lock up, the jaws are also damaged after only 2 'attempted' cuts. This wasnt even class 1 or class 2 cables, they were flexi tails

Worth the price.
I bought and used these cutters for about a year quite intensively for many armed guns before the spring broke and I bought new ones. The old ones with the broken spring can still be used, they still cut perfectly, but they work slower. That's why I bought new ones. Worth the price. I recommend.

Not up to the job.
Not up to task, wasn't able to cut a 3 x 2.5 sq SWA without getting stuck.

Absolute rubbish
Tried to cut a 1.5mm 3core, goes through 90% then doesn't cut anymore, and jams, cheap rubbish,

Do not buy
I used the cutters 3 times on the same cable, and they have stopped working. Utter useless and a waste of money.
