Only one glove was included in my order
Description wasn’t very accurate, these cannot be microwaved & have to be heated with hot water. SET only included 1 glove. Item was bulkier than it looks in photos & wouldn’t be a comfortable fit even if both were included. I’m returning this item for a refund, but Amazon still asked for a review so I am leaving an honest one! I hope others don’t have as bad of experiences

Decent ice packs with simple wrist gloves. Cold therapy only; heat option isn't practical.
I try to always keep at least one or two cold ice packs in the freezer at all times. After all, you never know when you might twist an ankle or have some other kind of injury that could cause swelling. The gel packs in this set are wonderful for that; for me, the gloves are a great bonus. I have carpal tunnel syndrome and neuropathy in my hands and wrists, so I am always looking for something to alleviate some of the pain and numbness in them. I have one of those cold therapy compression gloves, and I have to say...after using that, I am ruined for other cold therapy products. My glove provides 360° of cold compression around not only my hand, but also each of my fingers. These gloves don't have that feature, and I definitely miss it. That said, this set is more versatile and can be used to treat all kinds of injuries, not just hand problems. And when you are wearing the gloves, they conveniently leave the fingers free while icing your hand so you can still use your phone or computer or whatever else you want or need to do. The fact that there are four inserts included is also very helpful, as you can have two chilling while using the other two, and then switch. This set is advertised here as being microwaveable, but the actual instructions that came with it only recommend immersing the gel inserts into boiling water for several minutes. Since that's a big difference that pertains to half this product's function, I have deducted a star for the discrepancy. That brings the rating down to three. The price is very fair, though.

Gloves
These gloves can be used hot or cold which is nice. I’ve had others that claim that but don’t really work that way. You can put the gloves directly into the microwave. I find they don’t hold very much heat for very long in my opinion. These types of gloves are mostly better for the cold aspect as the packs go straight into the freezer and last longer than the best option will. They are washable which is nice. They don’t have fingers which can also be beneficial in some cases.

Easy to use and helpful for aching hands.
Aside from being able to easily use heat therapy on arthritic hands, I found out the hard way that they work extremely well for ice therapy to reduce swelling from impact injuries.I lost the war with tiffany-style, heavy-based, lamp that had been residing on top of a bookcase for a number of years. Went to move some books a few evenings ago and didn't realize the lamp cord was caught on one of the heavier hardbacks. Good thing it wasn't plugged in! The book stuck, I gave it a yank, and the lamp took a dive several feet down onto the back of my left hand. Luckily, only one pane of glass on the lamp broke and I didn't end up with a hand stabbed full of glass splinters-- just a scrape on the left forearm and a VERY large and painful black/blue/purple lump. After cleaning up the glass, I started using icepacks, 20 minutes on/20 minutes off for the next 6 or so hours and did manage to get quite a bit of the swelling down. If it hadn't happened at nearly 11pm, I probably would have headed for the nearest Emergency Room to have it xrayed, but as the swelling went down I decided I could wait until morning. Took only one good look in the light of day and a crunching feeling while trying to get dressed to make me decide that xrays would probably be a good plan. Luckily, the ER wasn't busy and the xrays showed no fracturing of the bones. So, the ER doctor told me to keep icing it, nailed me with a tetanus shot, and told me to check in with my own doctor in a few days. These Therapy Gloves were perfect! I could just slip one of the ice packs in, and ease it over my hand and leave it on for 20 minutes or less if the cold was too intense. It was a whole lot easier than wrapping a standard ice pack in a towel and holding it on my hand for that 20 minutes! A bonus is the material is very soft.I definitely recommend these Therapy Gloves! I will probably get another pair as a back-up.

Works well!
These are nice gloves. For ice I do feel as if they could have made the fabric slightly thicker and I wish the ice pack was more flexible. However, they do work just fine. They are well made and have a thumb hole so you can still use your hands while wearing them.I didn't use them for heating so I can't comment on that.

Feels too big
It gets cold but there are sections around my knuckles where it doesn’t lay against my skin

Best Used Cold
These "Hot and Cold Hand Therapy Gloves, Hand Ice Pack, Ice and Heat Therapy Pain Relieving Mittens | Microwavable and Freezable, Arthritis, Finger and Hand Injuries, and Carpal Tunnel (Ice Pack)" gloves are best used cold. I wanted my mom to use them as hand warmers but no matter how long the inserts sat in nearly boiling water, they could retain their heat long enough to slip into the sleeves and actually offer any warmth. You can't microwave the inserts, just dunk in hot water or freeze, so they're really just best for freezing.(Helpful? I hope so. Let me know.)
