Using a normal AAA battery running time is about 1-2 hours, using a large capacity 18650 battery running time is 6-8 hours.

are they made in china?

I searched the web and couldn't find a definitive answer. Based on the website beikelight . com and the LYW batteries, I'm pretty sure these are made in China. I don't have the packaging to refer to, and the flashlights are only identified as Beike.

Do they come in two seperate boxes?

No they come in one box. At least mine did.

Do these flashlights us a flat top or button top 18650 battery?

The flashlight uses 3 AAA batteries
