It can reduce the demage but does not completely removes it but yes it depends how long and what type the damage is, mine was 4 yr old star on windscreen and was stable, it was not expanding, this product has reduced the appearence

Best product
It covers whole caked glass, even if the Crack can be seen, you can touch and see that the Crack is covers and smooth on windshield surface so that no water or other particles can enter the glass from outside. It seals the cracks.

This product is awesome!
Very easy instructions and handy to have. My windshield was chipped and it got much much better after using this product. Highly recommended.
