Heather's Tummy Teas Organic Peppermint Tea for IBS, 36 Jumbo Teabags

This is a very nice product, and I have no complaints aside from the fact that I wish the tea bags were smaller. On one hand, it's nice that I can steep bags three times before having to switch to another bag. On the other hand, they could split the tea into three smaller bags and then I wouldn't have used tea bags lying around. I guess that's just a preference thing.This is definitely very strong peppermint - it tastes almost earthy, a lot like the peppermint I have grown from my own garden. It isn't as "sweet" as other peppermint teas I have tried, but again, that's all in preference. I happen to like both the sweeter and less sweet teas. Be warned, however, if you steep this tea too long it gets VERY strong. And while I like my tea strong, I forgot I was steeping it one night and came back ten minutes later and almost couldn't drink it the peppermint flavor was so sharp.While these facts give me some assurance of the quality of the product, like many others who have reviewed this product, I have IBS. While this tea definitely helps when I'm having a particularly bad episode, it doesn't seem to help me more than any other peppermint teas I have used for the same purpose. I actually used an organic peppermint tea from another brand that I think may have worked a little better and was more along the lines of the "sweet" peppermint flavor.So to conclude, there is nothing wrong with this product - if you like earthier peppermint teas you would probably enjoy this tea. If you have IBS I can't say as to whether or not this will help you more than any other peppermint tea, so I imagine personal use will be a matter of trial and error in respect to your own body and what it needs.Update 2/23/14:So I changed my review title because I have been using this product steadily for a couple of months now and I have to admit I think I may have been wrong. Initially, this product didn't seem to be any more beneficial than other peppermint teas I have tried. After long term use, however, I believe this product has done a much better job of maintaining a level of consistent health for my now happier stomach. Other peppermint teas have not had the stabilizing effect that Heather's Tummy Tea seems to have had. It also seems to work especially well for attacks now. I don't know if my stomach just got used to it or something, but whatever the cause, I am much more likely to continue with this product now. Thanks Heather!

Taste is great and really helps my tummy.

This is the best peppermint tea I’ve ever had in my life. I’m going to be 62. I am a herbalist. I have grown peppermint for years, and I cannot for the life of me grow peppermint taste a wonderful as Heathers peppermint 🌿 🪴 Herb. I use her tea a lot when I put my other herbs together from my garden to help mask some bitter herbs that I put in with the tea mix. And I’m not joking when I say this, her tea is very delicious. I share my tease with all my family and with friends, and everybody loves the taste of the tea. Thank you for using your gift from God to share peppermint tea with us all. Thank you, Jesus

Like most here I have suffered with terrible stomach issues since childhood with too many diagnosis to name in that time so of course let’s call it IBS (w IC.) I found Heather’s other Tummy product on my IC website and have used that religiously. It allows me to drink coffee again painfree. Miraculous! Took awhile but decided to try this Peppermint as well honestly for taste, sounded like a nice cup of tea and anything additional would be a bonus... well... are you kidding me!! I’m 57 and could have had a far more comfortable life had I just found these two products earlier. You owe it to yourself to give both, a fair opportunity to show their benefits. I think I got relief from discomfort that I had long accepted as “normal” for me because I have stuffed for so long. Heather has done her research, prepared the potency in her formulas and has given us real tangible relief that I personally have been unable to get from my medical professionals in 30 years. The tea is great for headaches and sinus issues as well I think... soothing. So much tea for your money. Simply base the brew potency on your current need. Very angry stomach, very potent tea... a little gurgley, mild discomfort, little headache or my daily cup I normally make a larger weaker cup. Plenty of tea at any strength. I’m a fan. Please try it, I hope you feel better as well. xo

Not only is the packaging on this product over the top beautiful as a keepsake, the tea itself is delicious. It also really does work to calm the stomach in a multitude of different ways from nausea to cramping from Chrones... The bags are huge and the taste is powerful, which I love! I am a huge fan. I have sent this as a gift to a family member with Chrones and she also loves the taste and finds it to be very helpful for her issue. Will buy this tea again and again. Please keep making it!!

Not only does it seem to help ease my stomach when it gets upset from IBS, but it tastes good. I only need a little honey. The only downside are the bits of tea that come out of the bag and into my cup too often.

I bought this product when I was having a bad flare up of my IBS symptoms - basically everything I ate was making me nauseous followed by urgency. I wasn’t super excited about the idea of a tea because I really don’t like tea, especially herbal teas, but at this point I was looking for relief. Unfortunately by the time I got the product my symptoms had essentially subsided, but I decided to try it anyway. I was expecting the tea to be uncomfortably strong based on other reviews, but it is actually perfect. Not too overbearing but definitely not weak. It is a medicinal tea, so strong is good. The flavor is great - like I said, I’m not a tea person, so I wasn’t really into it when I had the first cup. I noticed it was slightly bitter. Since then I’ve had about ten cups and I’ve really warmed up to the flavor. It’s really refreshing and good. As far as the medicinal effects, so far so good! I haven’t noticed anything weird going on with my digestion. No urgency and no nausea. It also really helps with bloating. My one gripe is that I also have reflux and peppermint appears to be a trigger, so I may try the fennel tea next time. Overall I love this product and brand, and I will likely repurchase very soon.
