4pack African Violet Plants Growing in 4" pots -World's Best Blooming House Plant

I’ve bought a lot of AV over the years, separated a lot of them and repotted and I’ve waited almost 2 months to do this review. Came on time. Very well packaged, just one broken leaf, still well hydrated and 3 had at least one bud only one no bud. First watering from the bottom with AV food. One blue, one purple with white edges, one burgundy and all three were double blooms. Too 2 weeks for the other one to put on a bud, now it has about 15 blooms, it’s a single and it’s pink. All are extremely healthy, strong leaves and all are covered in blooms. These are well worth the money. If I knew I’d receive 4 completely different kinds I would reorder. I will be separating these soon, probably in about another 6 weeks and then I’ll have at least 2 of each of these ones. If you love AV and want to give them a go, these are a great starting place for you. They’re beautiful.

I am very pleased with the 4 African violet plants. They were packaged very carefully, and only had a few broken leaves. They appear to be very healthy plants. One is blooming now, two are about to open their blooms and one will probably bloom in a few weeks. The varieties appear to be all different. I am very happy with my purchase.Follow up Feb. 16th - I bought these in October. I have had at least 1 of the 4 plants blooming constantly since I bought them. 1 never stopped blooming, and one has come back for another bloom cycle already, with yet another plant budding again already.

These took 9 days to arrive. All four were damaged. All had Significant Brown, slimy areas on blooms and leaves, dozens of broken leaves, and all were smashed flat, either partially or totally. The pictures make them look better than they do in real life, in my opinion. I am very disappointed.

I tasked my husband to find an african violet plant for our anniversary in October... who would have thought the plants were impossible to find (let alone blooming) in Fall at local nurseries or box stores. Thanks Prime! Found this offering = unbelieveable! Shipping box arrived with a sizable dent (my heart dropped). Inside, surrounded by styrafoam popcorn were four bundled cones = safe!. As seen in picture, each plant was first rolled in long paper/shipping materials covering entire pot/plant with additional "head room" on top. Then, each plant had the standard pot sleeve to protect the leaves. Finally the plant was secured tightly to the pot with plastic wrap (hardest part of the unpacking was carfully removing this). End result, 4 unbelievably gorgeous plants! 1 (puple w/ white edges) was already in bloom, another (double bloom regal purple) was just about to burst, with pink and white ones to follow. All were healthy, with at least 4 stems on each waiting to bloom. Soil was reasonably moist given travel time, and my shipment arrived on the earlier side of the shipping window. The 4" pot size will give them transition time post shipping and before transplanting to a larger pot.A month later, all 4 plants are still unbelievable! It's like a gift everyday; seeing the new leaves on the plant (see pink picture) and the new blooms coming from buds. The surprise of not knowing what you're going to be sent is half the fun. I'll look to get more later; but something tells me these 4 will be blooming for quite some time.

I could see these were very well packaged, nice sized plants with blooms about to open! Unfortunately they got too cold on the journey and didn't survive. I may try again when the weather warms up, but these shouldn't be shipped to areas experiencing cold temperatures.Update: I'm happy to report that I communicated through Amazon chat and was given a full refund. I plan to reorder these again when the weather is warmer.

It's hard to find old-fashioned African Violets in the supermarkets or home stores anymore. These are pricier but they are a very good size & came well packaged & either budding or in bloom.I repotted them in slightly larger pots & so far they are doing well. Glad I discovered them at Amazon!

I am happy with these African violets. They are all a different color. The pink one came bedraggled and overwatered, but the rest were fine. They have a nice clump of flowers on them. I'm hoping the leaves of the pink one are not all soggy and falling off. A few did but I think there are enough left to save. I have to pluck off the dead flowers and they will look pretty! I didn't take off points for the pink one as I think it will be fine with care.

I bought these twice. The first time my order arrived I was so excited. The leaves and the flowers were beautiful and it was very well packaged. So I decided to buy more. However the second time around, two of the pots were so damaged that the flowers were really frail looking and the leaves were badly damaged. A third one was also in a quite poor condition. Only one arrived in good condition. I am really disappointed
