This book was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad I picked it up.Stepbrothers,Forbidden love,Gay awakening,Slow burn.This book is everything you want in a step sibling, MM romance.The stolen glances, the pov from both guys was written so well I could feel the tension coming through the pages.I was so happy when they both admitted their feelings, because they both seemed so much happier.The smile on my face when their family and friends accepted it was just bliss.I couldn’t recommend this book enough.

The book was good and extremely steamy and emotional, but The spicy scenes were very repetitive and got boring after the first hand full. Here we follow stepbrothers Kennedy (who is gay) and Luca ( up to now straight with a girlfriend) discovering and dealing with their feelings for each other as they deal with past trauma. There are many extremely difficult, sad and heartbreaking parts, so check your trigger warning.

2.5/3****Possible slight spoilers******I really wanted to love this because stepbrother/MM is my fave tropes to read. But this fell flat for me. SA was mentioned for two different occasions but NOTHING was done for either. His girlfriend was a prick and it was just basically brushed over and his dads friend, I get it added to the story but I just wish it was resolved, even after years and not just brushed over and because he now had a boyfriend he was ok.I loved both the boys, their relationship it was really cute and how confident they were together. I enjoyed the pace of the story it didn’t seem to fast or slow, wasn’t packed with tons of drama. I will still probably read the next book just to see what happened between those boys. I liked how the parents accepted it and there wasn’t tons of drama with it.

Loved the story of Luca and Branson. Always enjoyed stepbrother romances and this one was no exception. The chemistry was great and the backstory was sad but also some very sweet moments. Just wish it went on a bit longer! 😊Looking forward to Knox story. Highly recommend.

I loved the story, loved the spice (chiefs kiss) if your into a bit of taboo (stepbrothers) this book is for you! Go get it now, thank me later!! But what I love about Ashley is although she gives you a playlist at the beginning, she also mentions each song where it’s ment to be played, so I go out my book play the song and live in that moment with the story and the song it makes it so much more real for me!

This book came recommended to me and it did not disappoint!Loved the back and forth, the drama and all the sexual tension between these two!Can’t wait for book 2 !!

This is a decent story with some pretty hot scenes. Mostly, it's just nice to read this sort of story without it being overloaded with drama and angst.

Fell in love with the characters, Luca & Branson are so super cute together and super hot sexy times. Fantastic premise to the story and well written, I just wish it was longer and had explored the surrounding threads of the story more; would have made it a clear 5 stars for me. Trigger warnings for prior child abuse and family drug abuse but written really well. Definitely reading the next one as soon as it’s out!
