(original review was inaccurate after taking a second look; now revised).These socks just cover the ankle. They seem to be holding up well so far with two active boys, 9 and 10. I was looking for an option with black and grey so I could give one kiddo the black socks and the other kiddo the grey socks to make separation of the laundry easier. These fit the bill.

My son just turned 6 and is almost a size 3. These fit perfectly. They’re not too thin or thick. They don’t show the color other than a peek of grey or black at the ankles. He’s had them a few months with constant use and washing, and there are no holes or major wear and tear. And they’re simple yet cute. Definitely worth it!

My son likes them but they are thin. Since they are thin, it’s harder to get them clean for myself.
