Used a couple of times, does what it does.
I got this when I thought I’d use an arm guard much longer than I did. I’d suggest you measure the size guard that you actually need because this is a little bit of overkill for me and I have a very long draw and long arms. But it’s well made and fits securely and comfortably and does what it needs to do. I have no complaints at all.

Good quality but really long for most forearms
Quality is good, fit and finish are good. It's a little stiff, but not uncomfortable. It's longggggggggg though. I'm 6'1 and it covers from my elbow to my wrist in full, to the point that I can't bend my wrist and elbow at the same time when I wear it. It could probably be an 1" shorter. It serves it purpose though and I use it regularly.

Stops bow string stings to my inner elbow
I've been using an archery arm guard for 60 years, ever since earning my Archery merit badge as a Boy Scout. The only problem I had with it was that occasionally, I would somehow get zapped by the bow string right at the inside of my left elbow -- just above the arm guard. My 8.5" guard didn't go up high enough.I finally got tired of this and searched for and found this extra long 11.5" arm guard from SAS. It easily covers the more delicate inner elbow and a tad bit above that. Yes, it slightly restricts the bending of my elbow, but not much. This minor inconvenience is much preferred to having sore, red skin on my inner elbow.Having 4 straps instead of 3 is perfect for an arm guard this long. It uses buckles (like those found on a small day pack) for fastening the straps. The buckles make it very easy to remove the straps, but more challenging than Velcro when putting the guard on.

Nice arm guard for weird arms
I must be a physically abnormal person because this thing has worked great for me. Unfortunately for me I have stumpy little legs that don't match my amazing arms. I have used it heavily for about 8 months, 3 -5 times a week, about 100 arrows per practice and it's held up fine. It snaps on and off quickly and keeps my arm safe.

too long for most people, solid protection
like most other reviewers, I purchased because I have long arms.... but not long enough. My guess is 99% of the people buying this will think it is about a 1/2 inch too long. If they had put a break at the wrist so that it bent with you it would work better; I might be able to do that myself so we will see. It definitely protects the entire forearm though, you don't feel a thing.

Good for an adult length arm, saved me from some really nasty string slap
I got some really, really painful string slap from a 50 lb. recurve bow string that left some very gnarly bruises. Good form will help you avoid string slap, but if you're starting out, it's a good idea to have one of these. My issue with other arm guards was that they weren't log enough and didn't cover the area around the elbow (which is right where the string on my bow tended to strike). This one does, if you pull it up a bit. You lose a bit of flexibility with it going over your elbow joint, but that's about it, and as it's soft, it's not a huge impediment to using your elbow.

Impossibly long for arm
Nicely made, yet absolutely worthless. It's too long for my arm, and I draw 32"! Not sure if it could fit anybodies arm, or if this can serve any purpose at all.
