I bought these over a month ago as I,d just adopted two cats. Although they were used to going outside in previous home I did,nt want them outside as I live on a main road. The locks have stuck fast and dont appear to be going anywhere soon. and depending on the position of each individual side, the size of the gap can be made as wide or as narrow as you like. I have read reviews where other people have said theirs have fallen off but so far I,ve had no problems. I have also used two locks on the one window, one at the top and one at the bottom, just for added security in case one set failed. Just about to order a few more sets of these for windows in other rooms.

This item does not work, the lock may be strong, but the sticky part falls off, so its dangerous to leave with kids around, as this can fall off at any given moment.

The wire makes it a bit difficult to install properly. They do stick well and grand once up

Easy to use and super strong. I brought these as I have 2 indoor cats and I didn't want them escaping out of the windows when I'm not about. They do the job just great ,my cats can't push the windows open any further and the gap is small enough so they can't squeeze out. Peace of mind and worth the money

My house has huge picture windows with louvre windows at the top. My cat was hit my a car last year and only goes out on a harness and leash now three times a day, so I had to find a way of keeping the windows open for air but keeping him inside. He'd sussed he just has to open the louvre windows further to escape. I ordered the slide along bar locks at first but was unable to fit them to my windows as the louvre handles were in the way. Bought these locks and they are ideal. I stuck the lock section to the middle surround area between the louvre windows and the other sticky end on the glass of the louvre window I wanted to be able to open. Problem solved. I can open my windows again and so far they have held despite the determined attempts to shove them open further! He's given up now. Ordering more for other windows. Happy.Writing update to say these do not stick for long! They seem happy to remain attached to steel frames but not the glass on the windows nor PVC frames. Of the three I attached, only one remains stuck to both the steel frame and the glass of the window. Threw the other two in the bin. The search for decent window locks continues. Disappointed.
