They are bright for a small living room area. They get the job done and don't get too terribly hot. Don't get me wrong, they get hot, so watch where you put them. Worth the money for sure

This light works extremely well and surprised how bright the light is. It comes with no remote control. It’s a switch on the cord. No installation needed all you have to do is plug it in and you’re good to go. The size is not too big and the light is extremely bright. I truly love it. The only complaint I can I have is that it heats up quite fast. I mostly use it for displaying black light and glow in the dark things and it lights them up just beautifully just what I needed for my business.

I purchased two of these units and strapped them onto a clear acrylic box that I use to cure my 3-D resin printouts. It works just great… Very easy to set up. An install doesn’t generate much heat at all and put out a good amount of purple glowing UV.

They have a good light output but the heat sink doesn’t have enough surface area or maybe it needs forced air cooling because these things get way, way, way too hot to just leave them on. I tried them before mounting them by just standing them up on the table and after having them on for maybe 3-4 minutes i turned them off to go install them. They were so hot that there was no picking them up. I let them cool and put a single screw to mount them on either end of the game room to see if maybe being out in the open air would help with cooling. Nope…. I had them on for 5 minutes and went to check them. Despite them being on a little swivel stand that spaced them out from the wall- I could feel the heat on the wall behind them and above on the ceiling. It wasn’t nearly as hot as the light itself but i could feel it. This isn’t in front in the light- I’m saying this is heat generated off the back of the light itself. Not worth it…i didn’t take the risk on them and took them down. Maybe on a metal frame of some kind but it’s not worth the risk of mounting them on a wall and a possible fire. They are bright uv lights and do what they say but they get way too hot in my opinion for safe use inside a house.

I use this light in my alcohol filtering setup for 3D printing resin (dirty alcohol is sucked up out of my tub through tubing by a pump and then ran through a series of loops in the tubing in a box with this light to cure the resin, and then ran through 2 different filters to catch the cured resin, before returning to the tub). I had ringed the tubing with LED light strips, but running everything by this light has been WAY more effective.It DOES get hot, so I only run it for 5-10 minutes at a time, but so far it's been great!

These blacklights are pretty good. They are very bright and work well but can easily hurt your eyes. The stand that it has is very flimsy and doesn't bend too well. The cord is also heavy and knocked it over quite a few times. It also gets extremely hot when it is plugged it and can pose a risk of injury if you touch it while it's plugged in.

This product gets extremely hot within minutes of plugging it in. There is no outside casing. This is not a safe product and should never be allowed to be sold this way.
