Excellent, glad I got this
Paid around $25, and it's a very useful pizza cutting knife and will probably be great for other foods too. Comfortable, handsome, well made, and sharp. Good purchase. Would make a fine gift as well.

High quality gift.
I went to Alaska over the summer and I forgot to get somebody a gift. I definitely bought this for them and lied and said I got it in Alaska. It's very high quality, it feels pretty heavy in the hand, the leather feels high quality as well. It came wrapped in plastic and almost dripping in oil, That smelled like fish oil. That was kind of gross but I just wiped it off and let it air out before I gifted it. It's really cool, and pretty dang sharp. The oil was a little unsettling but overall it was very well made and definitely worth the money.

Well made and useful!
I’ve used an uhlu for years. My adult children had been wanting their own and this met all expectations. Well made and beautiful. Heavier than I expected but comfortable in the hand. The leather sleeve is well constructed and would be helpful if needing to transport but a stand would be a nice option for an easy grab. I use this for cutting sandwiches, pizzas, and slicing meat. It’s a great kitchen tool!

Very Nice for the Price
I just received this today, which is about 2 weeks sooner than was quoted and expected. The quality of the Ulu is very nice all around. The walnut handle looks nice. As others have noted, the handle edges are a bit squared off, but it still feels comfortable in the hand to me. If I find that it's not as I use it, it wouldn't take much to lightly sand the edges, so no worries there. The blade is heavy-duty with a 3/16" tang and the blade edge on mine came sharp. The only "complaints" I might have are a couple of dings on the steel in non-critical areas, which is no big deal and as others have noted, the sheath is not the color noted in the listing. I knocked off stars on the workmanship and the giftable ratings for this. It would have been really nice if the sheath were the same walnut coloring as the handle. All in all, though, this is a nice utility knife for the price and so far I'm glad I bought it. Since I'm not gifting it and the lack of craftsmanship doesn't affect the purpose of the knife, I feel this is a good value purchase for me. If that changes as I use it, I'll update this review.

Amazing Pizza knife
Yup. Pizza. that's what we use this blade for, in our kitchen. Probably pretty good for separating joint sections (thigh/leg) on chicken or rabbit as well.

Finally got one
Been looking at these for years. I liked the shape and design. So I finally got one. I am not disappointed. It is sharp, easy to use, & fun to cut with.

The Axe Has No Edge
1. The image shown cutting the pizza is a different product and not what you will receive. While the other pictures are accurate using this as the main image is misleading and gives an incorrect sense of scale2. Only buy this if you are interested in a project axe. It comes with literally no edge or primary grind. It is completely dull and not usable. You'll have put one on yourself.3. Aside from the first two points it seems well crafted and the handle is very nice. Once I've succeeded in getting an actual cutting edge put on it may be a decent tool.

Blade discoloration
Bought this in November, I have always washed it by hand and dried it immediately. I would leave it on the counter overnight to make sure it was completely dry and then put it in its case. I am very disappointed in the discoloration of the blade , which you can see in the photo!
