Funner than I remembered!
Very fun and active! My 4 year old loves it, and I love playing it with him. It's a good game to have him stay off TV's and games and it encourages interaction. It gives commands on a beat! I love that I had different modes to play and multiple people can join the fun. To me, it's worth it. Batteries not included by the way.

Brings back old memories
Bought this one for my son after growing up playing the same game. It’s sturdy but not nearly as nice as the 00s version he likes to play it on road trips. We love the different modes and our whole family plays it.

I thought it wasn’t working
I returned my first Bop It because I thought it was broken since it did not respond to the “Bop it to start the game” as stated in the instructions. The replacement also appeared to not work. However, my son was messing with it and it suddenly started working. We figured out that you have to “pull it” to turn it on. The instructions say after you stop playing for a while, you need to “pull it” to wake it up. It did not occur to me that you need to pull it before you ever play the game. They should say this in the instructions and put a “power” symbol next to the “Pull It”.

SO Much Better Than The Original
My wife and I would break out the original from time to time. While we enjoyed it, the joy wouldn’t last long before it felt a bit boring. We tried this and it is SO much better. We can play it for hours and still be laughing and enjoying ourselves and looking forward to playing it again. I know it’s noticeably pricier than the original. But it totally was worth it.

a great gift for the whole family, ages 8+.has brought many hours of fun for our daughters competing with one another and friends. Builds fast thinking brain-to-hand coordination.
