Can this antenna be place inside house by window

Solid Boost with this Antenna
If you have a building with old architecture, thick walls, and metal in the windows, it is very difficult to connect wireless equipment. With the combination of LoRa and a 5.8 dbi antenna boost, devices stay connected. This is a well put together antenna and base that includes high quality RF cable.

Pretty solid antenna. Sure beats a stub antenna!
Note: I do not have a Helium miner which is what this is advertised for. I just evaluated it as a general antenna and cable for the advertised frequencies. The antenna itself seems pretty solid. I was tempted to cut it open to see the construction but I'd actually like to use it so I didn't. It reads well within acceptable SWR range across the frequency range advertised. The cable is another story. With the cable in between the VNA and antenna, SWR is somewhat degraded, but not awful. The cable is going to have fairly high losses at 800-900MHz, but for a fairly short run, it's worth it for the flexibility you gain from this cable.I have plans to use it for some other LoRA projects so I will try to come back and update this review once I have tested it for that purpose!A note for any potential buyer, I didn't read carefully enough (this is on me, not the seller) and didn't notice the connector was RP-SMA. But not a big deal once I realized. But be aware of this before you buy!

Good signal improvement
This antenna improved the signal strength of RF signals that I monitor. This antenna is specifically designed for the 800Mhz / 900Mhz frequencies. Before getting this antenna, I was using an antenna that wasn't designed for these frequencies.Since it was for receive only, I was able to get away with it.I monitor the county emergency services radio network on about 850Mhz.This antenna has improved my reception from 80% - 98% to 97% - 100%.With the signal staying at 100% most of the time and the antenna hasn't even been mounted on my antenna pole yet.I'm quite pleased with the signal improvement.I also like that this antenna is made of fiberglass and has a weather resistant N connector. The magnet mount is convenient for any mobile applications. While I do not have the ability to transmit in the 800Mhz / 900Mhz range, to test this antenna, it receives very well.I recommend this antenna to anyone that needs to operate within these frequency ranges.

Doesn’t work for miners..
If you’re looking for an antenna for your miner, don’t go with this. My earnings dropped 100%. I went back to my old one and it works just fine.

Great build quality
I was a Little shocked at the build quality of this. It is a sturdy antenna. Getting it set up was super easy(as it should be) and it worked great for me.

Wonderful
Gained signal strength dramatically on my RAK helium miner compared to the antenna that it came with.

I’m not sure what they mean by indoor
I’m using this mag mount antenna for a 900 MHz antenna. It holds up the antenna well and it’s a good size. I appreciate the cable length and quality. With UHF frequencies, the loss in the cable can be an issue, so keeping it short is a big win. Loss was around 0.5 dB when measured on my VNA. Naturally it is more efficient when placed on metal, but no SWR issues with my antenna. Overall happy with it, my only issue is why is it called indoor? I feel like a mag mount goes on a car or other exterior metal object. I have mine inside right now, but it has spent a few days outside and no observed issue. Antennas are best outside so I would think this product would want to support that.
