There were some grass seeds but I have a yard full of some clover
I spent so much time.. tilling my front yard. So much money adding new soils, a PH monitor…. I’m disabled so it wasn’t easy… I watered… I did everything by the online website . but instead of grass I have some weird looking clover type looking stuff…. I had already purchased another bag for any thin area’s but I was out of town so I figured I’d need to wait until fall….. I spent so much money, so disappointing and now I have the ugliest yard on the block…

Beautiful heat tolerant grass seed!
I planted this late in the season last year (mid Oct) in the Transition Zone which resulted in slow establishment and a few thin spots. By spring time the lawn filled in quite a bit but we experienced about a 3-4 week stretch of drought and a few areas eventually went dormant with some die off (non-irrigated). It quickly recovered after watering and getting some much needed rain. The bag had some annual ryegrass mixed into it, which is more of a lime green color and grows faster so it was a little bit of an eyesore. But by summer time, all the ryegrass was all dead. The first year of establishment is probably the most important for any new seeding due to the root system not being fully developed and I've found that the two key things for getting a new lawn through its first year of summer is giving it plenty of water and controlling disease which rears its ugly head during the humid summer months. We had spotty rain in our area this summer with periods of 95-100+ degree temperatures and I only pulled out the sprinklers a handful of times which was whenever the grass started showing signs drought stress (bluish/gray haze and needling of the blades). This picture is about 10-11 months post seeding. There is only one thin spot in the lawn which was from the drought in early spring but the Texas Bluegrass has been filling it in nicely. And just to be clear, this is a 50/50 mix of TTTF and Texas Bluegrass, by seed count, not by weight. The percentage listed on the bag is by weight. So yes, the bluegrass only comprises about 10% of the overall weight but it's important to mention that there are only 230,000 Tall Fescue seeds per pound compared to 2,300,000 Bluegrass seeds per pound. If you were to get a true 50/50 TTTF/bluegrass by weight (which would actually be 90% bluegrass, 10% TTTF by seed count) like some reviewers complained about, more than likely they would not like the look because the few TTTF clumps would stick out like a sore thumb in a predominantly bluegrass lawn.

Didn’t grow at all
It had high reviews so I went with this brand. Nothing grew. I waited a few weeks and tried still nothing grew except some wired weeds that I’ve never had in my yard before.

Labeled as bluegrass - 90% fescue < 10% bluegrass
Unbelievable - labeled as bluegrass for the whole 9.8% bluegrass - the other 90% is fescue. See pic of content tag.Maybe just a tad misleading and misrepresented. Definitely being returned...
