I've seen the evolution of LED's as well as solar panels and I believe this is a great example of how far both have come. The unit will put a surprising amount of light where you never thought you could have any. The sensitivity is adequate and the battery life is very good. Installation is quick and simple with two screws in a mounting plate the light hangs on. The panels can be turned to direct the light a little better but this unit wants to light up a large area. Don't expect to be able to direct it that well. It comes with a remote control so you can operate it even if you hang it out of reach. Overall a good example of the latest generation of a very affordable stand alone light system.

It does everything it says it will do. It lightens up an otherwise dark part of our driveway, without a lot of wiring. We've only had it a few days, and although the instructions says it requires 8 hours of daylight, we've had mostly cloudy days since we installed it (about 4 days ago), and it comes on great and works early in the morning, so we have no complaints. I imagine this is because it's not "on" all the time since it only comes on when there is motion. Our neighbors remark they even like it if they are walking by and the light comes on, they like having the light there, as well the next door neighbors like it cause it warns them something is moving outside (caught a possum the other night). I've seen some that are brighter, but we needed an auxiliary light, not the primary BRIGHT light. It's perfect for what we wanted.

I think everything about the product listing is slick and well done. I spent more time than I should have doing the research and ultimately purchased the set based on off-Amazon research plus reading the reviews. The listing boasts some powerful claims but in my opinion it fell short of reality.I won't rehash the product description here, but I will say that the light is well-built and the lights do indeed articulate in nearly every direction but the quoted/rated ability of these lights isn't living up to my subjective expectations.With 496 LEDs, and a claimed 3500lm (assuming "lumens") brightness, you might think it was blinding, however, it's a soft light. Even if you divide 3500 by 2 (two lights), the solar light I have now that has 250 LEDs and is rated at 600 lumens is as bright if not brighter for half the price.One major difference I noted and most likely the reason for the increased LED count is the LEDs are literally half the size of the "normal" LED size. If normal is 1/8", these are 1/16". So, it kinda makes sense that the number is twice what I have but the light output is equal or less.Having said all that, I'm not going to rate this as 1 star as some might because there's technically nothing wrong with them and if I didn't have a basis of comparison I might be happy with them. They are average.

Super easy to install. They come with a remote which is an added bonus. They are super bright and both together light up my once dark driveway. These are great lights. Planning to purchase 2 more soon.If you’re looking for a way to light up dark areas at night, look no further. No wiring needed to install these awesome lights, because they recharge by solar power. So basically just install them and let them do their thing. How easy is that?!! Be sure to install them so that the solar panel is accessible by light of day however. So happy with this purchase. Like I said above, I plan to purchase more in the future. They’re so worth the money. Try to em out. You won’t be sorry😊😊

One set of lights work fine the other has water in some of the lights and does not work. I also find that the remote is not very user friendly and you have to be very close for it to work at all.

Great bright lights seem to work well have them up few weeks at 11ft heigh and they light up a big area for reversing into drive way with the trailer on
