I’m so disappointed in this purchase. I thought I was getting a top-of-the-line iRocker paddleboard, but instead I got a poorly designed board and it appears IRocker has no intention of doing anything to correct it. I gave it two stars, because it is very light.The problem is with the design of the fins. In order to counter a stability problem IRocker gave the board two long and narrow fins. The other fins are from two different companies I have inflatables from, Advanced Elements and Sea Eagle. Their design only uses one fin and that works fine. If you’re trying to capture weeds, hit the bottom, or hit rocks, the IRocker design can’t be beat. The last time I used this board, I spent more time taking weeds off the fins than I spent paddling.I would have returned the board, but I had a shoulder injury that kept me from using it during the return period. The fins a terrible design and I’m guessing IRocker doesn’t want to pay the manufacturer in China the money to make a new mold. They should admit they made a poor design and fix it. IRocker did put a line on the fin attaching it to the fin box so you don’t lose a fin when it gets knocked loose, because that does happen.

Bought two iRocker Blackfin boards. Within the first two months…the edge band came unglued at the front end. The entire top surface came unglued. Seriously, the entire surface on BOTH boards. Dog toe nails puncture the top surface so they are not “dog friendly” as iRocker pitches on their website. The surface stains easily. Fins are very difficult to install. I re-glue these boards monthly trying to get my money’s worth. I do not recommend anything made by iRocker.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^IRocker just responded to this review by asking me to add my full name, address, email address and phone number to this review. Really? I had purchase two blackfin xl about a year ago in same order, direct from Blackfin. We took a 4 hour drive to Black Canyon trail (Willow Beach Az )today. I went to inflate my wife’s blackfin xl ( only used once last year ) and as the iRocker automatic pump was trying to get it up to 9-10 psi I could hear a leak from the front top seam. Ok, no problem, that sucks… but let’s salvage our trip, let’s get my Black fin XL aired up. After about 9 psi the from top inseam literally blew out with a loud bang ( only used 1 time last year as well. Imagine if we were out in the river. Same seam as my wife’s. Packed it up drove home. I have no words, we paid a lot to get quality so this type of thing would not happen. Worst, there goes our 4th of July weekend trip and a lot of money.

This company is a joke. Save yourself $1000 and buy a board elsewhere. Their customer service is the biggest joke. My board was part of the recall and I was unhappy with the pathetic choices they were trying to pass off as a replacement. Asked for a refund or credit towards a board of my choice and was told no. Opened a claim only for it to be not taken seriously and closed immediately. Save yourself the headache.
